Your contest entry is in good form, Mystery Author. The picture is a good pairing with your well-chosen words. Those words make a great statement about the men, women, and children aboard the Titanic. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Respectfully, Jan

It seems like it was the cruise ship of days gone by. It was said to be unsinkable, but, what an unpleasant surprise. I've heard that this dilemma could have been avoided. I like what you've done with this and enjoyed reading this well written work. Well done!

Hi there,
I'm not sure the fate of the Titanic is a great advert for adventurous living...
It was a mammoth feat. Thousands of Irishmen to build the damn thing and then one Englishman to sink it - very impressive.
All requirements met, best of luck to you

Wow. I guess that is true. Never thought of it that way. Great job in sharing your message with only three lines and the tight syllable count. This flowed well and no word seemed forced. Great job.

Yours is a neatly worked poem,
The story of the Titanic continues to fascinate people. It was supposed to be the voyage of a lifetime, but it ended so many lives - their sense of adventure doomed them. The adventure lives on for many, such as James Cameron researching the wreck.

I'm voting for this piece. Hands down! It is well written and it embraces the positivity from the people who's spirits live on from this tragic incident. Great job!

This is a good poem for the prompt. I like the picture.
I don't think in killed the spirit of adventure. More
cruise ships were built. I think this virus we are living
with now is killing the spirit of adventure for us now.
Keep writing and stay healthy
