Sandra,

Oh, my. A lot of scary stuff going on here. And so much potential for disaster - to Earth, that is. I don't know why I sense that - I mean, beyond some of the things you said, but when you have so many aliens bouncing around on our planet, I just think too many things can go wrong, yeah?

But it was a super chapter. No nits. I enjoyed! Thanks a bunch!

Thank you so much, Robyn. The 'zapping' of Earth, was in the book one, when Eric persuaded the Wise Ones that not all the people on Earth was bad, him mum and dad weren't for a start! Lol. They have given Eric 50 years to make some big changes. Now he has to grow up and sort it out!! Hey, he's my grandson, of course he can do it! Thanks, my friend, for your support, I really appreciate it. :)) Stay safe. Sandra xx

I am always in awe at the things that originate in that brain of yours, Sandra. You have a real talent for writing children's stories. Eric and his friends are having such wonderful adventures with Herbie and Gizmo to guide and protest him Well done again. Now they are embarking on saving Kon and his people by finding a planet for them to live on. Good job. xix Nancy:)

Aw, Nancy, what an amazing compliment. Thank you so much. I think it helps that I never grew up! My mother used to tell me that. LOL. Thank you for the 6 stars, and this fabulous review, my friend. I'm so pleased you are staying safe. I hope your eyes are getting a bit better? Take care my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

No, My eyes are getting worse. The right one is blind and the left one is giving me fits, crying all the time from strain. I try to take it easy but I do the computer until I can't take it anymore and then watch TV. It is difficult to do anything with one eye. Try it for a while. We never know what we had until we lose it. xox Nancy:)

My laptop has a program that allows me to speak my words, rather than write them. And the read aloud to have it read it back to me and read reviews back. Perhaps that would be a good road for you to go down. I'd hate for you to suddenly find you can't put your poetry on here anymore. You take care, you're my friend! xxx

WOW! I want one of those. Right now my eyesight is so cloudy I can hardly see the keyboard. It's like looking through a window with rain drops on it. I doubt I could afford such an extravagant purchase.LOL

They are on most laptops now, Nancy. Mine is an hp Windows 10, and it has so much on it. It's a few years old now, so the newer ones are even better. Mine costs about £300. from PC World, and they are on Amazon. You can pick up cheaper reconditioned ones, that are as good as they were when they left the factory. Take a look. It would be a blessing for you.

I'm enjoying your interesting story. At the end it sounds as though this robot may be turning into a human. Too bad being human makes him capable of telling lies.

Thank you, Beth, for reading this part, I'm so pleased you are enjoying it. No, Herbie will never be human. We'll find out what happens in the next part. Thank you, again, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Another excellent chapter! It teaches us curiosity in science, dealing with creatures others than the known ones, loyalty and so much more. I love reading Eric's adventures. You have earned your first place in storytelling.
Congratulations!

Ah, Drozig, who would have guessed?
Hello Sandra,
I love the way you've woven each of the main characters
in the Epic Adventures of Eric into the story with surprise appearances.
That's quite an imposed picture of Drozig. :)
Love the way Eric always thinks back to what "mum" would say.
So, Herbie is becoming more human. Hmmmm, that could be good or bad. :)
It seems he's developing emotions and telling little white lies for good purposes.

I ... I won't let you!" I like the ending, could also be " I ... I won't allow it!"

"We knew you were coming" [to Atlantis] extra words to make it a little clearer?

Great chapter. Looks like Eric's school report is going to be a great Sci-Fi story. Well done.
Best wishes my friend.
Stay well.
Robert

Thank you so much, Robert, for all those beautiful stars. I've used your suggestions, they were excellent. Eric's mum is the one who instills the rights and wrongs in his life, and does the correcting. Although she is firm, she is also very loving and Eric knows when he's getting close to crossing the line. His dad, my son, has the patience Eric needs, being border-line autistic as well as dyslexic, Eric gets very frustrated, and it sometimes comes out in temper tantrums. Chris is the only one who can control him when he's like that. The bond between father and son is incredible. I love seeing them together. After all that, what I'm saying is, Eric would always think of what his mum would tell him, rather than his dad. Don't I go on??? :)) Thank you for another lovely review. It's always a delight to read them. Big hugs, my friend, and you stay well as well. :)) Sandra xxx

Am I wrong I wonder to see a certain similarity between the search for a safe planet and a search for an antidote of some description to the Corona Virus? It was the idea that the aqua-beings should prepare so as to be ready for the journey that put me on this track. We were so unprepared despite the warnings from he other side of the world. A most intriguing episode.

I never thought of that, but you're right, there is a huge similarity between the two. Let's hope the Corona Virus search is successful. I've heard that they were warned about a pendamic at least two years ago, but no one took any notice. The old, 'it won't happen to us' syndrome. Thanks, Jim, for the great review. Stay safe, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Oh Mrs Malaprop! I loved this. I thought Pendamic was a village in Cornwall until I discovered Sandra!

If I had anything to do with the village, it would have been! I love Cornwall, they're all lovely villages there. :))

Hi Sandra. Things are certainly getting complicated. starships, Atlanteans, boys, robots. There appears to be some suspense growing here. Eric has to be very careful in what he says. Everybody can hear him!

Eric is pushing his luck now, speaking thus to Drozig! :( There is no way you'd zap Eric..... is there? lol

Just a few bits and pieces:

Instead he asked outright what he and Gizmo - comma needed after 'instead'

"... but we don't know if there is such a planet. Drozig will find it if there is." Eric finished, preparing them in case they fail. - I think this should be 'in case they failed'

"Eric can't, only the Gizmo can reach us." - period after 'can't'

"You have no idea how much!" he said, even his tinny voice sounded gloomy - period after 'said'

"I am Kon, I, and my kind greet you, too - comma after 'kind'

"It's no trouble. We wouldn't have known about you had it not been for Eric and Herbie coming to find you," Drozig looked at Eric - period after 'you'

What's going on with me Drozig? - comma after 'me'

You can't have him back, he's mine, and I say - period after 'back'

Take care
Judy

I enjoyed your well-written chapter, Sandra. I found it most interesting. I knew Herbie was becoming more human-like, and I like that. However, will he lose his powers as he continues to evolve? The discussion parts read well. I like the beginning where Eric is acting like the child he is in regard to what parents say and do and how kids respond. You included some great details that can further expand your chapters. Thanks for sharing. Respectfully, Jan
