Colors play a great role in our lives in all walks of it. This is a fun poem. The weather here is finally nice enough that I have been able to do things in my yard. "A little color's all I need" perfectly describes the way I feel about spring. Well done!

Thank you, we had one nice day and I got some flower bulbs planted but today yucky cold and rainy! Ugh! Hope you and yours are safe and well.

This poem conveys the reassurance that comes with repeating a happy phrase that pops up to say something pleasant, as the narrator goes outdoors to garden.
The images of flowers & of birds in the garden reinforce the joy of being in nature--ordinary yet sublime.
