what a wonderful biblical allusion and call to prayer, my lady -- love that repetition at the beginning in there.... Thanx for sharing and sorry I'm so far behind! ;) Yvette

And here I've been
trying to stand out
my whole life.

Gabriel, "Hello?"
"Over here..."

Ok, so I still got a
sieve for an Id.

Humility is a very hard lesson to accept/learn'agree with.

Oh, yes, your poem was quite good.

LOL

Nature we can not fight we are warned time and time again take care of the earth this is what you have been given - a great gift that humans in their greed have nearly destroyed.
Open you eyes and look at the wonders - pray God looks down and sends a cure that we may all have learnt something from this terrible sickness.
God Bless all

Thank you for sharing your good advice during these dark times. I admired your focus on being a "better person" and coming "together". Take good care of yourself- Joan

Thank you Joan! I hope you are well and safe. I know it is difficult for some to get along with others when our ability to move freely is affected. Trying to keep the good in front of the bad. Sorry I an a little late in responding. xoxo

"Covered"
This talks about isolation time yourself the virus and finally?
Redemption.
I just had a post come up on my cell phone youngest victim 6 week old child to get the virus.
I like how you nailed it in the end by bringing the cover which was the title to the very end
And I and I thought I was the only one that knew that trick!

Beautiful free verse. This is a time that requires a lot of thought and patience. I fear that there will be an increase in the incidence of domestic violence when people are cooped up at home. With faith and prayer, we'll get through this. I just hope the answers come quickly. judi

Yes, adults and children are at risk of abuse. :( Lots of people fearful with no means to feed their family. So we just try to stay in prayer as we go about our day.

Thanks for taking time to read. xoxo

You're very welcome. I hope we'll soon see the worst of the virus is over and pray that the kids are being cared for at home. judi

Yes, this reminds me of the blood that was put over the doors of homes so that they would be spared. I agree that we be spared and our families in Jesus Name!

Wish I had a six for this, my friend. You have nailed the positive direction all humanity needs to take. (If only!) We can be at peace, even now, in the Lord's hands. Earthly problems will not last forever. Take care, Diana, and stay safe. xo Janet

What wonderful advise stated in your poem. I find, too, if there's no complications or stressed feelings, we feel much better about ourselves and the poetry that we write.

Diana, thank you always for your uplifting thoughts. There's pone thing about writing we have to make a plot into a conflict sometimes. I think this virus is enough of a conflict...I pray that things will get better. Thank you for being here and understanding.

Hi Diana,
Thank you for a timely reminder in these troubled times.
Isolation, seclusion, lock downs, life threatening viruses and loss of faith and hope all thrust upon us at the speed of light... well almost.
Your poetry is a glowing light and such a positive beacon and may we all find solace in its meaning.
Blessings
Shirley
