This story becomes more involved as the episodes are posted. The characters continue to be believable, the conversations normal and the story steadily progresses.

Well done again!

Eric's adventure takes a grave turn, rather mystic; he could not guess for he had never seen anything like that; silence is the indication of a storm; the aqua-being want answers; I enjoyed the read.

I'm fascinated with inherited knowledge. When we wonder how we know something, or how to do something, I believe is inherited knowledge, passed down in our genes. I'm anxious to see what Herbie and Gizmo come up with. I know their solution will be outstanding.

    I think it is, too, Yvonne. I've read a bit about inherited memory, and it sounds so obvious that we do. I'm glad you think so too. It fitted in nicely with my story! lol. Thank you so very much for the 6 stars and your very much appreciated review. Stay sage, my friend, and well. Big hugs, Sandra xxx

Hi Sandra, it is such a great story. Now Eric is at a loss how to help the population,but it appears that Herbie and Gizmo are coming up with a solution. It's exciting stuff. The font seems alright to me, so you must have found the solution. I really enjoy this story, as you know. Stay safe!! A hug. Ulla xxx

Sandra,

Very entertaining and quite a dilemma. I can't wait to see what you have in store. *smile* You and your wildly creative mind! There's no telling what you'll come up with. I look forward to finding out.

Some notes:
1.) He glanced over at Herbie as he slowly stood up and held onto his bike,
--> delete 'up'

2.) but the aqua-being(s) were holding on to them too tightly.

3.) That was a surprise! "What happens now, then?" Eric asked,
--> a bit awkward
--> perhaps just 'So, what happens now?'

4.) the table and were now sat staring out towards the mermen.
--> delete 'sat'

Thanks so much!

Poor Eric wanting so badly to help but can't figure out how. Hopefully, his friends will have an idea. Your chapter is very well-written, interesting, realistic start to finish. I look forward to reading more.

Again a lovely story! It unfolds slowly and logically, with surprising revelations. The horrible world that becomes visible...it was before Eric was born, so I imagine wars and violence. Not a pretty sight for a little boy, but a good warning.
As usual, outstanding!

    I am completely sealed in my home. Don't worry. I have decided to survive. I wrote (and just posted) a poem "Called For", about someone who did sadly not survive.

I see you couldn't use my suggestion. I understand because I can't copy paste italics from my word pad to the site. This is a good story. Can't wait to see what Herbie and Gizmo come up with. Please stay in and be safe my dear friend. xxx Nancy:)

    I have put the words in aqua marine, Nancy, and I'm sending it to Eric's dad to show him with some other fonts. I was going to use it on here but it doesn't show up as much as it does on my MS Word copy. I think having the words just written in the aqua colour leaves me free to use the same font as the rest of the story. And a lot easier too! So, don't for one minute think I've dismissed your idea. Far from it.
    Thank you again, my dear friend, for another lovely review and all those stars. I really appreciate them. But I appreciate you, more. Big hugs, and you stay safe too. It's a real nightmare, isn't it? Big hugs. Sandra xxx

I like the sly, wry touches of humor--how he took advantage of reading his parents' expressions to avoid trouble, but with these beings he was screwed in that regard. Also that he didn't like the sound of "internal reactions." Cheers. LIZ

    Thank you for your kind review, Elizabeth, I'm delighted you enjoyed the humour side to the story. Eric is like that in real life, so I had to add it! Lol.
