OMG that 1st paragraph speaks my very thoughts. The ending is good too. The real virus is the fear which has grown faster than the virus in exponential leaps and bounds. Eckhart Tolle has two presentation on this issue. If you get fb check it out. I am voting for this.

This is very interesting and very well thought out. You're absolutely right. We have made a mess of everything since we've been in charge. We've raped and pillaged this planet of its natural resources, polluted the oceans, displaced and caused species of animals to die or become extinct. I know that we've hated and warred, and infected each other without cause instead of walking in love with each other. Yeah, I think that you're right. Our time is about up. I suspect you're right--mankind is probably to blame. Yes, we've mucked up the natural order of things. But I doubt there's any superior force
ready to lower the doom on us. Our demise will be more like the 'death of a thousand cuts--and completely self-inflicted.
