I too am proud of America and her ability to re-create the pioneer spirit, and use it for the good of the whole. People pull together as they did in the days of old.

Your poem captures the new spirit of cooperation and resilience that is happening in many places. We can but hope that this scourge will have a silver lining once the tragedy of loss is under control. We will have had a glimpse of a more united, caring community.

I liked this faithful and hopeful write and the spirit of the people will carry you all through with some positivity. Each nation in the world is faced with the same dilemma. At 8pm each evening Spain clap for the health workers, it keeps up moral.
Your poem is well rhymed, but the meter and syllable count its spasmodic in parts and I came up with a few suggestions for some of the lines here for you:
"Our empathy (is shining) bright."
"(in) solving things aggressively--"
"(The) Scientists creating drugs,"
