Wow, Sandra, the complex layers you manage to weave into your story, amaze me!
I realize it's fiction, bit I feel like I'm learning so much!
Keep reminding me, this is just great fiction, not real, and Jason Mamoa won't be riding in, to save the day. :-(

Great chapter. :-)

Sorry, Sue, but, NO, Jason won't be riding in to save the day, he's swimming over to your neck of the woods, then hitching a ride in a bath tub to your house! LOL. Thanks for this, my friend. Sending you a big hug! :)) Sandra xx

With every chapter I read, I'm intrigued by not only your wonderful writing style, but the way your imagination surpasses all expectations. You really do put yourself in the zone you write about, and transport us all along with you. Well done!
I'm looking forward to the next exciting chapter -

Cool!! 'Shifting' mer-people!! ;) Of course, my favorite is the stripes.... interesting that their bodies don't process the red into their skin colorations... :) :) :) Thank you, Beautiful Lady!! ;)
Please understand that this is a ridiculously abbreviated (and cut/paste) response for me, but I have been (still am!) in the midst of converting everything to online learning for the mandated school closings for the foreseeable future. Once I get 'ahead' in this 'change of venues' (i.e., instruction in cyberspace - lol!), I promise to be back to 'me' in my responses... you know, the crazy blonde fantasy chick! ;) ;)
Be safe and, remember, if you see any offerings/reviews from me, they are my 'escape' from this insanity... you know, my pressure release valve!! ;) ;)
Take care of you and we'll be sailing smoothly again in a few more days... hopefully!

Bless your heart, Yvette, that was so nice of you to pop in when you have so much on you plate as it is. Any review is a bonus coming from you, my friend. Take care, stay safe, my friend, and see you when you are up and running again.

Sandra,

Ouch. Only letting us in on teensy bits of information at a time! I realize that's due to the length of posts on FS, but I'm anxious to hear this whole story. It's not completely clicking with me yet. Poor, poor folks.

I didn't really like the part about them not being able to rely on their Maker and having to do things on their own AND that all planets are destined to fail... those facts contradict my religious beliefs and I wouldn't want my child or grandchild getting those thoughts put into their heads, to be honest. Does that make sense?

But you are welcome to write your story as you like, of course! Thanks! No nits --

Hi Robyn, I never thought of it that way. I'll change that part now. Thanks so much for this, it's what I want from reviewers. It's no good if everyone told me what they think I want to hear. That won't sell books. lol and anyway, this is for my grandson, so I'll definitely sort that part out. Thanks so much, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Thank you so very much for the six stars, my dear friend, and your fun fabulous review. I'm really enjoying writing these stories, I can invent what ever I like and no one can say i'm wrong!! LOL!!

I've been worried about you and your mother with this Coronavirus spreading like mad around the world. Please be careful, and keep away from strangers.
We are in isolation now, I can't have any visitors because I'm over 70 and with my asthma I'm an at risk pensioner. :(

How are your eyes now? Ian had an eye op yesterday and he said how much better he can see now. So I'm hoping your eye that they operated on first is much clearer now. Love you loads, my dear friend, please keep safe and I'll be keeping you all in my prayers, Biggest hugs, and so much love, Sandra xxxxx

Hello Sandra,

I don't usually review book postings, however, your posting was directly across from my poem posting so I couldn't pass up the chance to review a writer with a talent such as yours.

I can definitely understand the excitement that I would have if I were a young person reading about the adventures of Eric and Herbie. Especially, when they discovered two mermaids or mermen. I can see the child's eyes opening wider in anticipation of reading more and more about what lies ahead.

The young reader already has embedded in his/her mind what these strange creatures look like from reading your fantastic description at the end of Chapter 4. When children become excited they want to continue on with what they're doing and you have a God-given talent to push them in that direction.

Once you capture their imagination the way that you do with your wonderful books, they will become lifetime readers and possibly authors.

So, please keep writing. The children are waiting to read all your exciting stories...Good luck...Bill

Aw, Bill, that is so nice of you to come over and read this part. I really appreciate that. I'm writing these stories for my grandson who is dyslexic, so I need to keep them exciting to keep his attention and his desire to master this awful problem. You are so kind to give me a six, thank you. I think you are a lovely boyfriend, and you have totally made my day. :)) Sending you a special hug, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

This is very fun and well done. You really have a great imagination. =] Has your grandson been reading it? I didn't see any errors.

I haven't been on much. I am still having depression problems, waiting for my meds to kick in. I've had to change and start over 3 times now. ={ I have always been very sensitive to the side effect of drugs and have had a hard time. This one causes anxiety, but my pharm says it should pass once I adjust so am hanging in there. All that is going on sure doesn't help. My work shut down and I have to work from home. I wonder how long it will take to recover from the financial end of this.

I see you in the UK are having to deal with the same thing. You stay safe and well. Rox

Thank you so much, Rox, for reading this part. I'm really sorry you are still poorly with depression, that just pulls a person down so low, it's frightening. I do hope you can fight your way out of that dark place soon. The Coronavirus certainly isn't helping. It's awful here, and my doctor has told me to isolate myself because of my asthma. I don't know what is happening to this world! Sending you a big hug, my friend. Take care. Love Sandra xx

Hello Sandra, a terrific Tuesday to you. I hope this finds you well, in good health and spirit. This latest chapter was just as good as the last one, your story continues to be well-written and imaginative. Good job and have a great day!

-Very good image and chapter, Sandra.
-You did a great job with all of the description
of the Aqua- beings and their story.
-You tell it so we really feel for them,
and what they have had to go through.
-I always like it when Eric or Herbie
adds a little humor, like "Yel and Page!"
-But it is really the story that tugs at
the heart, and makes us feel for
them having to move from their home.
-It sounds like they are very intelligent and
resourceful, but then, what choice did they have?
-This was so well written, there aren't
good enough words to describe it.
-I look forward to knowing more about them,
and how Eric and Herbie will fit into the plot.
-Well done, my friend!

You are very welcome and deserving, Sandra. It was a very good chapter, and you captured the heart of this civilization. P.S. I like them better than mummies, ha, ha. I forget what the product is, but I have seen a commercial where the mummy is wrapped up. It's probably Gieko insurance!

A good, and eternal message flows so freely, righteously, glorifying God's perfect creation and system of survival in the respective worlds for living, the style of living is ever at par with each creature and created objects, each one has been endowed with appropriate order of transformation of lives, Eric is well taught the essence; the Aqua-Beings tell their respective stories about their life style; theme is well tackled thru planned and skimmed plot development coupled with contributory dialogues and with climax and curious ending; well said, well done; sorry, I do not have 6-star to offer now; Pray to God save you, mankind and me from Coronavirus, 10 members may load @$21 MD gift to my account save my ATB posts making my lifetime Premier Shield Upgrade at $210 MD; thanks for sharing this.
