I love the picture you've chosen to go with you 1-6-1 poem Trisha, it shows that oldies can still have fun, enjoy each other and life. Love your words, a great description of intimacy, well done.
cheers,
valda

A very well-written six-word poem about the intimacy of two souls who blend perfectly in harmony with one another to share their common goals.

Nicely done! That picture reminds me of my grandparents (God rest their souls), who were married for fifty-five years before my grandfather passed away. Thank you for stirring those memories

The picture really made me smile. This is a great entry for this particular contest. The rhyme and syllable count are as ordered. I enjoyed reading this one. Thanks for sharing.

What a hoot. I was told by another reviewer there was only 5 words so in haste I added one. Now you noticed I have 7 so I?ve taken one off. I just can?t count!

This is funny, Trisha. I don't think either one of you counted:) Back to the Count on "Sesame Street" for you! I changed your review for you, too:)

To bare one's soul and heart is the most frightening thing one can do. But sometimes the rewards make it worthwhile. To find that the best friend you feared losing with those words is your soulmate is one of those rewards.

This is nice, Trisha. You tell the story of the photo in six words. Those two souls are the lucky ones. They clearly are so in love. Their intimacy is in their touching knees and bare toes. And there is intimacy in their eyes.
This one made me feel good.

Elderly people need intimacy, when all ?other? is done. Today, it seems only sexual activity is classified as intimacy. It?s great to see older couples who have known different kinds of it. Thanks so much for reviewing,
Hugs, Trisha
Comment from Bicpen
It has a sensibility a movement and a voice of endearing sentiment it deliberates and passes the knowledge of its wisdom quite appropriately however it is good not excellent in my eyes a s I fear it is on a shore of uncertain concrete imagery and is washing in a pool of possible opaque nature due to the word choice. It has a flow and an adherence of consistency but is not strengthened by the word choice it is coherent but not forceful it is succinct but not enlightening enough it addresses the charm of the two becoming one but leaves a lingering doubt about its approach ability
