You surprised me, Sandra. I wasn't expecting the denizens of Atlantis to be sea creatures. Well, maybe they aren't. Maybe these are Atlantean "pets".
For the rest it's a delightful chapter. Eric is a likeable boy, outgoing and brave.
Waiting for more. :-))

Thank you so much for reading this part after the promotion finished, Julia. I'm glad you enjoyed it. What is going on will become clearer as the we go forward. I like your idea! lol. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Alright, I'm keeping my eyes open for any Jason Momoa sightings! Hubba hubba... back to the story.... exciting stuff. :-) I look forward to learning more about the creatures Eric is interacting with.
This sounds like a promising adventure and I'm already hooked. :-)
One possible correction:
A stunning waterfall could be seen frothing and churning as it hit the river below, only to be caught up and dragged away by the current. Eric had never seen water as clear and blue as this one. (I'm not sure 'one' sounds right. Possibly omit 'one'.)

Oh, how I wish I could get Jason to play in my upcoming movie of Eric and the Atlanteans. He'd be perfect for the part. I'll send him a message. I'd obviously have to personally interview him, check out his muscles etc! lol. Thank you so much, Sue, for your lovely comments, and for pointing out that. You're right, (of course) and I've taken the 'one' out. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

A fun and exciting new adventure for Eric and Herbie. Atlantis has always been a place of curiosity and mystery. A great platform for the new adventure. Didn't see any errors. Well done as always. I've been ill so haven't been on too much. Rox

I'm sorry to hear you've been ill, Rox, how are you feeling now? It's so nice of you to drop in on the start of my new adventure for Eric. I can get away with lots of imaginative stuff in Atlantis, as no one can dispute it! lol. Thank you, my friend, and take care of yourself! Big hugs. Sandra xxxx

Another fine instalment in this new adventure. I liked your description of the waterfall at the beginning.
The alien creatures are intriguing. Just enough detail to allow your readers to build their own picture in their minds. It sounds as though they might be friendly enough, but those strange knives they had in their belts are a bit of a worry. It sounds as though the sensible thing to do is to keep smiling!

Fabulous! You've done it again, Sandra. This might be a book for your grandson's age group, but you've got me hooked. With so many possibilities, my head is reeling. Knowing you, it will be like Dr Who - for every age group, and everyone who has a vivid imagination - Well done!

-A good image and very good chapter, Sandra.
-Effective description of Atlantis as Eric and
Herbie first see it, as well as the inhabitants.
-I also like the inclusion of Eric's reference to
The Garden of Eden, and that you keep us
reminded of the paper he has to write, too.
-You show how Eric and Herbie proceed very
cautiously since they know nothing
of their surroundings or how the people would react.
-It will be interesting to learn more about them,
and the houses they live in. Good description of those, too.
-Then we are left to wonder about this domed building.
-A lot seems to go on in Atlantis!
-Well done!

Thank you so much for another lovely review, Pam, and for all the shiny stars. I'm so pleased you liked my descriptions of the houses and the image I've chosen for Eric's first glimpse of Atlantis. Now to :see what is inside the dome! :)) Big hugs, my dear friend. :)) Sandra xxx

You are very welcome and deserving of the stars and review, Sandra. I wonder what will be inside that dome?!
-
Hmm, I can't wait for Eric to go inside and let us know! Lol. :)
-
It does make one wonder what he will find there!

Hello Sandramitchell,
What a FANTASTIC piece of General Fiction this is!
It has impressive phraseology, smooth, spontaneous, highly captivating flow throughout from the beginning to the end, and beautifully depicts the theme.
The most remarkable part is 'Presentation of Eric as a Character, and A brief synopsis.'
Interesting INDEED, and I'm eagerly waiting for the next Part.

That's the good thing about it, no one knows if it even existed. Fortunately, my trio will find out the truth, you can rely on them. :)) lol. Thank you my dear friend, I'm so pleased you are coming along again. Big hugs, Sandra xxx

I've so enjoyed this post's adventure and getting to know Eric, Herbie, and Gizmo. In fact, I can't wait for the next installment; you left the reading hanging off a mysterious cliff. What will those people do? Is our trio safe?
