I'm reading all the cat poems because I adore cats. This one may be the winner. It is definitely the funniest. I love that photo with the cats in sync with their daily ablutions. Your post with it's rhyme is cute as well. Whether you win or not, you certainly gave people pleasure with this one. I love your sense of humor.

Holy Toledo, Mystery Writer!
That's a whole lot of cats washing their "bums!" At one time - during our much younger lives - we enjoyed being kept by three felines. And every evening, they too, put on quite the groom show!

This is an excellent contest entry. The picture was probably a wonderful inspiration for this short poem. I especially liked the pun in the last line but it was good in its entirety.
