Your 5 7 5 is expressive, well describing the stealthy, smooth movements of a cat. What's really entertaining is watching a kitten
sneak up and jump on--oh, someone's foot or a leaf.

Yes, cats seem to have a plan far too arcane for we humans to grasp. They tolerate our oblivion, because such is the nature of the regal feline.
They perform to push our buttons, then hide their satisfaction as they turn us into the performers.

This is a far different read than the last piece I read of yours. Still, this is done impeccably and your true talent shines through! I could be a real nit-picker and tell you that my eyes were drawn more to your paragraph "By my estimation..." thinking at first that it was the 5-7-5, but there above was the poem itself. You really are talented!

Nice overall alliterative imagery of cats striding smoothly stunning. Interesting juxtaposition: theatrics/stride and unusual phrasing: do as smooth, and victims be stunned. Cheers. LIZ
