Congratulations on the publication of your fourth novel, Bob! That is an amazing accomplishment. I caught the first couple of chapters of that fourth book and then was gone for about a year so I'll have to read it in e-book. I am proud of you!

There is nothing I like better than a success story and I am very happy for you. A lot of work that you have been acknowledged for. Congratulations. What a thrill! I remember when my first book was published - due directly to FanStory! (Well, to be honest, I say 'first' book, but really it's my only TRUE novel. *smile*) I am sooooo proud of you! But then, you are SUCH a skilled and talented writer with a knowledge and gift of the craft that few possess. I have never doubted your success.
I will certainly check out your newest book - and as soon as I can, will try to holler you up for a signed copy. (Too soon after Xmas. Give me about a month, maybe?)

FS is a great training ground, as you say. It lets us try things out on people whose "sort of thing" it might not be, and who come from all sorts of places. Many of the books I've posted here have wound up in print and I've often incorporated stuff that came from FS comments.

Congratulations on the release of yet another mystery, starring Cleve Hawkins. I like him, but I like his girlfriend better. I have two of your novels... "Fatal Beauty" and "Triple Crossed". And I have reviewed most (if not all) of "Falling Up the Stairs". All terrific reads! I wasn't around to review this new book, unable to indulge in Fanstory for a long time. A mental thing, I guess. Trying to get back in here a bit now. I'll be ready to review the first chapter of your new novel.
