This is an exciting chapter filled with great action. I was glad to find
out that Grandpa seems to be on the road to recovery. The actions
involving how Bill got to the hospital were done well and offered much
intense excitement. I enjoyed his lullaby. What a cliff hanger.

That's not fair. LOL I use cliff-hanger endings all the time of course, but when I'm reading a story and don't know what's going to happen... not fair! LOL
A great chapter. Lots of action. No errors noted. Lucky Bill wasn't hurt! That could have turned out very differently.

This is an exceptional chapter Cathy & Bill. The flow of events/lines is super. Readers ( & me) are taken on many adventures starting with the first paragraph. I was unsure how the 18 wheeler incident would play out--the scene is vivid with many details. I like how you always include the thoughts of the characters. The action doesn't end until the cliffhanger which only will lead to more in the next chapter.
I enjoyed the part about "Tennessee" taking Bill to the hospital. The dialogue was realistic and engaging. It gave more insight into Bill's character as to his training and feelings about his service. I love the 'commando talk.' It adds great realism to an already realistic story of family, love, and interaction of characters. I'm sure Bill was 'All Shook Up.' That is a great reference to EPresley's song. Your inclusion of the videos associated with the time stamp always makes me stop and watch each one and understand how they fit into to story. I like how those remind readers of the year this story covers. Your research in to the state of society during 1964 is meticulous. You always offer interesting videos that show what was popular or influential in politics, including how the Vietnam War was so much on everyone's mind.
Bill's arrival at the hospital is well-detailed. I'm thrilled he made it there in one piece as are Grandma, Grandpa, and Cathy. The devotion of the family members and the love expressed by each is endearing and a joy to read about. The news of the baby was delightful. Bill's lullaby is awesome. I could 'hear' him singing it and feel the love he has for Cathy and the baby. It is full of love and great imagery. I like the way you presented it in the story--the formatting of it is super. I'm thrilled, too, that Grandpa is rallying. He and Grandma are back to their 'normal' antics. The interaction between the two of them is fun to read and shows how deep their love is for each other.
This chapter sets up several tangents for future chapters. The cliff hanger leaves me, and other readers, wondering what the good news and bad news could be about. Hopefully Grandpa will continue to improve, the baby will be all right, and Bill and Cathy's relationship will stay strong. I like the way you expanded the cliff hanger and bolded it. I certainly look forward to finding out the answers and eagerly await the next chapter.
The writing of this chapter highlights how well both of you work together with your own POV to make this story flow well with interest, information, and attention to details. As a collaboration, you both are on the same page.
