Wow, I am unfamiliar with this format, but I love the spiritual flow of this poem. In my present frame of time, it calls to me at a perfect time in a manner than allows me to give over my burdens to Jesus. I usually am a fixer of problems, myself and don't seek through proper prayer, His help although he is there, always. I'm a bit weary and this one hit a spot, so that along with our changing weather, these taxing changes of late are less of a burden that I shall keep to myself and give unto Christ His will be done, not mine. Maybe the ride will get better. Very spiritual in a direct way that is uncomplicated and righteous. Great job. Bruce.

Hi Bruce,
I am sorry for the delay in responding. I went away for a few days and didn't have anything active on the site. How delightful to return to your review. Thank you, Gert. You have a great eye. I have a book of poetry on the site called Shepherd. I am taking words and phrases from Psalm 23 for each poem. I am trying to use a different poetry from for each poem. It took a while to find something that fit "thy rod and they staff" and I finally found the Tableau form with its five beats per line. I'll be moving this over to the book later today.
Thank you for the great review. I think your reviewed just after it expired so you only got two cent. I appreciate you being so generous with your time and comments.

This poem is most powerful especially the line at the end, 'come and follow me.' That line brings the poem together, in my opinion. Thank you for sharing and take care.

Hello W. J. I like your poem and content. You touch on several points of faith that all believers do, or at least should, recognize.
The final phrase compels all to come and follow Christ . Well done. Robert

This is a very beautiful and very well written poem you have penned in the borrowed Tableau form about our Savior. You used very good descriptive words and very nice imagery from the art work you chose. Blessings,Teri

Thank you, Terry. I appreciate the encouraging comments about the words and imagery.
I guess I should say I borrowed the format. I didn't put the word tableau in the title as required so it isn't a true tableau form.

"Reaching outstretched arms...come follow me." So powerful and the artwork you selected make your words just leap out, so real, heartfelt. Thanks for sharing this inspiring poem.
