Hi again Aiona, So, FS said that a Tanka is no more than a 5-7-5-7-7? It's actually a lot more than that, it has a handful of rules... I can't remember right now because I haven't written in a while. If you look up Tanka guidelines online I expect you can find them. The 3rd line is a satori line, that I remember. The rest I can't but I know there's more. If all they want is the syllable count then you're fine. :)

This is a very satisfying poem about the learning process and the pain that this can involve. I find the illustration well-chosen. Something that looks so beautiful and graceful, and yet is absolute agony and requires hours of application to achieve.
