Some interesting imagery going on, such as baby deer feeding near slow, falling rain, and this one took me off guard: she fights off hungry crows biting at their toes. I have never seen crows do that to ducklings, but that definitely is an image to shudder at! It sounds like this poem is full of baby animals today and gratitude. Fun share for this time of year!

I remember an old friend of my wife asked me, "how do you know there is a God?" I was stumped for a moment, but the answer came...look around you, can't you see these miracles?
