I am so glad to hear someone else confess the problems he has with Christmas lights. There is always one skein that does not work next year . no matter how careful you are in the packing. Because this is a contest, you might try to find a true rhyme for pouch/out. Otherwise, this was fun to read. Rod

Thanks, Rod! Yah, I should change that. I'll think on it. Not sure how....... how to pack them... or how to change the wording either! :)

A,
hahahahaha This is so stinking true. But, as cheap as the lights are - especially as soon as Christmas is over!! -- it's actually almost cheaper to just buy new ones every year. But that's insane. No, no... we continue to drag them out and tirelessly fight the old ones.
I used to LOVE to go through the strands and find that one bulb that wouldn't light - which made all the others STOP. I was insane! Of course, that was before I had three kids, too. hahaha Priorities change, don't they??
A fun post. Thanks for the smile!

Yup, plus that would be adding to garbage, right? I've been trying to fiddle with some lights I got from the Dollar Tree - necklace lights... trying to splice them together and make something I can power off my USB charger....... So far it's not working.
