I really like this. We never know when we might be entertaining angels unaware. This was very engaging and intriguing from the very start. I like the unexpected addition of the dark skinned angel that saved the day. I enjoyed reading this well written work. Well done!

I really like how you open the story with the mother and her sick baby in a storm alone. We, of course, hope something can be done for the baby when the stranger mysteriously appears. Good description of him. A novel approach in using the poem's lyrics. I found the ending predictable, but still enjoyed the story.

Such a wonderful story... Visits of 'angels' or any of 'magical beings' are always such 'feel-happy' stories!! Love that you've given this one the persona of a male with a 'foreign' feel and definitely not from 'around there'... ;) The contrast of eyes to skin brings in the aura of mystery...and the song was a great addition! ;) Thanx for sharing and best of luck at the polls! ;)
