This is a write that Dean would have enjoyed as he was the master of horror and will be terribly missed. I knew Dean was dying because he told me and I didn't quite believe it when he passed, I feel so sad about it, I liked your post, love Dolly x

Hello Dolly, I only found out 4 days ago and was shocked to the core.
He told you he was dying? I knew he had a new pacemaker, didn't know he was so ill. I worry about his little dog, Gidget who sat on his shoulder. Thanks for reading dear friend. Best wishes, Kace XX

Another fine tribute to Dean. You did a nice job on this, and I wish you a lot of luck in the Dribble Flash Fiction contest. This entry reminds me of Halloween - creepy. Thanks for the entertainment - Cheryl

This is wonderful, Kace. Written so well in honor of Dean. I'm worried about Gidget, too. These lines are especially terrific:
"Ghoulies on Halloween
Have a candy he would say
Then eat the children at play"

You have written an excellent tribute in honor of Dean. It is right up his alley and I'm sure he'd chuckle at the conclusion. (Your comment is warm-hearted and sincere, Kace. Dean is definitely missed by a lot of FanStory members.) --Janet

Hmmmm. It sounds pretty right on. I love that you gave tribute and hope whomever is judging isn't holding too tight on those "fiction" rules! He is sadly missed already and I'm so glad his writing will remain with us to enjoy!--Karenina

Thanks so much Karenina. Not worried about the contest really. Blessings, Kace.

I'm with you... I wrote a non fiction essay for one of these by mistake and still gathered a few votes. It's the meaningful writing that counts!--Karenina
