Men! Can't live with them, can't live without them. LOL I had to come back and see what happened in this chapter after reviewing the next one.
Once again, I found nothing to correct. Great story and I am enjoying it very much. Some women really do go over the top. Just to prove something to themselves I guess. Well written.
Write on!

I really enjoyed your story and videos. They were great fun to watch and the music was great. Your chapter 8 feels more like a screenplay. It's almost all dialogue and then you have a block of mostly exposition. I would like to know what people are thinking or at least what the POV person is thinking. Hope this helps.

    Hi Sandra,
Thank you so much for reading and reviewing Chapter 8 of Love Long Distance. This particular chapter was mostly dialogue (and hopefully a full chuckles), but the next chapter will delve more into the character(s) thoughts, as did some previous chapters. By using different styles and perspectives throughout this novel, we believe it will move the story along at a good pace and keeps the readers engaged. When it all comes together, the characters will become more than words on a page. We don't want you to close the book and forget you ever read it! I'm sure you understand what we mean. We really appreciate you coming by and hope you return for the next chapter. It's in the works and coming soon.

This is the first time I'm reviewing a novel in the works as the characters are still being developed and up for change along the way if the story seems to lean that way. The nurse scene at the end seems extreme, but, hey, this is fiction, right?

Hi Susan! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing Chapter 8 of Love Long Distance. Yes, the nurse is extreme, and real life experiences can be even stranger than fiction. When I (Cathy) do book signings, customers come and tell me their stories and constantly confirm how true that statment is! The nurse will have to deal with her actions, as will Cathy. We hope you come back to read Chapter 9 to find out. It's in the works and coming soon.

Hi Cathy

I think you got the right of Bill. He definitely is a flirt and yet I also believe when he falls in love he is true. Your story sounds like Bill speaking which isn't a bad thing if the story is kinda like an autobiography of you both. Well written and entertaining. Good luck!

Certainly full justification is the way most novels end up but Fanstory's formatting requirements are different and we are asked not to justify or indent paragraphs. Were you to enter this in any contest here you could as a result find the work disqualified. Just a well-meaning warning.

I find the nurse's conduct not really believable, to the extent of being ridiculous in fact. That would be all right if this were comedy but, although I havent seen earlier episodes I don't believe it is.

This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

    Greetings, Pantygynt!
Cathy and I find your review offensive. As an FS Teacher and Marine, your remarks are unprofessional. We are aware of FS's Site Rules. 'Full Justification or Indenting of Paragraphs' are within the boundary of Site Rules. We recommend 'NIGHT SCHOOL' for you! Having said this, she and I request that you 'SKIP AROUND' our work in the future. God Bless!

I am sorry you found my review offensive. I have reread what I wrote, which was intended to be helpful, and can see nothing there that could reasonably be classed as offensive.

Please note my remark, 'Just a well-meaning warning'. I merely wanted to spare you from the annoyance of having work disqualified from contests. How that can be considered offensive is beyond me.

I have noted your request however, and will try to avoid reviewing your work in future.

This is my first chapter and the story has caught my attention. I don't know of very many old-timers who would have used the word "flamboyant" though. I'm in my 60's and most people, in my neck of the woods, had a rather negative connotation for that word (equating it to outwardly & over-the top queer). I think I might have used a different word like "mannish" or "forward". But that's just my thoughts. Great story though. Entertaining.

Hi There! Thank you so much for stopping by to read and review Chapter 8 of Love Long Distance. By your profile, it is unclear where in the US you are from. Maybe that's why, in your neck of the woods, the word "flamboyant" had/has that interpretation. Glad you enjoyed the story, and we hope you return for the next chapter. It is in the works and coming soon. Wishing you a great weekend!

A nice balance of humour and action in this. The dialogue is crisp and engaging. This is a love story with a difference and the co-authoring is working well.

Love your story. Was a little humerous but it sure added to the plot. I cannot imagine a hospital with this type of flirty nurse...sounds like she is a little carefree.

LOL!
"Bill was now eyeing the nurse--from head to toe, and back again. Her big blue eyes batted at him a little too much for Cathy's liking.

Bill was in the right place to put himself in a dangerous situation I suppose.

"Why, aren't you cute," the nurse said to Bill.

Nurse puts her life on the line here lol.

"Wow! Who are you?" he replied, quite intrigued.

And this seals the deal. A cat fight in a hospital.
This is a well-crafted chapter. This is the first chapter I've read. You have definitely piqued my interest.
God bless
Steve
