A very well-written response to the questions asked by Maria. There are many dreams that are not really coming to anthing but just the fact we dream about it say a lot.

-Great image, Yvette.
-These are all great answers.
-I cannot begin to imagine
knowing the workings of
the space shuttle or even
wanting to be in one.
-It is amazing to me that
you have this background
and are accomplished in a
very complex field of space exploration.
-I know for a fact I could not
stand the close quarters.
-Someone else answered
#5 with bread. I like it, but
I'd have to go with dessert!
-I like your answer about iced tea!
-Thanks for sharing.

Oh, good, then I shall reserve a special rocking chair on the back patio for you and we can sit and watch the birds and sip our tea as the sun disappears and the shadows fall in our little valley here!! ;) Thanx for the review, Pam -- I do so appreciate your support! ;) ;) Take care! ;) Yvette

That sounds like a good plan, Yvette. I'll just fly right over in my private jet :) I did mention I have one, right? You are very welcome for the review.

LOL! Thanx so much for reading this craziness, Debra -- it was definitely a fun time!! I told someone else that it reminded me of some of the crazy questions the kids used to ask the teachers for the yearbooks each year! ;) Take care and have a wonderful week! :) :)
Will be sortof 'out' this week as mom comes into town this afternoon to spend a week... will check in here and there, but mostly out... take care of you! :) ;) Yvette

I loved your clever answers here Yvette, I especially liked your answer to number 4! I have sometimes suffered the same fate for being blonde! Blond does not mean no brain! He he he, I enjoyed learning more about you here Yvette, you certainly have a clever mind! Love Dolly x

Wow! You grew up loving space travel, and at least you worked in the space program, even if you weren't an astronaut yourself.

4. Good answer, and you're obviously NOT a dumb blonde!

5. That's a lot of gluten! No side efffects?

6. Travel has always been my dream, too. I toured all of Europe after college, and camped all over the US about 15 years ago. Now that I can't walk more than twenty feet (lung disease) my traveling days are over. There are SO MANY places I would still go if only I could. Travel while you can! Old age brings sickness, and you may not be able to travel if you wait too long.

7. I see that you are very annoyed by lies, so I won't tell you that I was an astronaut and walked on the moon. :)

So glad you enjoyed these, Phyllis - they were fun and I've already started bugging my husband about the travel plans... he retires in about five years and I can't wait!! ;) ;) Thanx for dropping by! ;) Yvette

Good answers, I don't think I am ready for this quiz yet. I previously said in a review that you set a high bar, I am beginning to understand why. You said you wanted to see the world; I guess if you got your wish to spend a day on the space station you would have a two-fer questions two and six met at the same time:-) Thanks for taking the quiz, and for the insight
Steve

Thanks for taking the time to do this. I know I need to do so as well, but I don't really have good answers for this one. Anyway, I found your clothes description most interesting because we probably shopped at the same stores like Dunnavents, Parisian, Jeans. I find that sort of touching.
I am also amazed that you bake bread. When I want to know?
I do hope you get to travel some day. I'm a stay home girl and my husband wants to see the world. Where would you go?
I enjoyed your post very much my friend.

Oh, MQ, there aren't any good answers, there's just YOUR answers!! ;) ;) I, for one, would love to here the lawyer's answers on this one....especially the blonde lawyer!! ;) ;) LOL! Don't bake it much anymore....I buy it. Baked it all the time for years and years before the gluten-free fad hit the country: two of my boys are celiacs so I've been baking/cooking gluten free for 20+ years!! ;) ;) And I'd love to just set a goal of visiting all 50 states and start mapping out the course... we've (David and I) talked about getting an RV when he retires so, maybe that will pan out... who knows?! I just wanna go once I don't have the boys at home anymore! ;) ;) Thanx for the review and I'm hoping you read through it with RENEWED gusto!! ;) ;) Yvette
reply by Debbie Pope on 16-Jun-2019
How many boys do you have at home? Just the one that is in Japan?
That's amazing that two boys have celiac disease. How did they diagnose it? Gluten free is hard to do. It's hard to cook and to eat.
reply by the author on 17-Jun-2019
The baby's here...he's off to college in the Fall. And when the middle one gets back from Japan he'll be here briefly until grad school move the second week in August (so about 2 weeks). :) And I'd have to disagree on the hard part... been doing it for over twenty years so it's like second nature to me. :) ;) The only time I do "two" different things are pasta dishes and pizzas. The rest? I cook for the least common denominator...all the boys had/have food allergies so celiac was just a single factor: I can cook ANYTHING (with rare exceptions) that is gluten, dairy, corn, and soy free....in fact, until my youngest was around 8 or so, I had to have eggs in that mix!! ;) ;) A wizard, I tell you, I am a wizard -- LOL! LOL! Take care! ;) ;)

I love hearing about your family. Did your baby boy go to the school where you taught? About the food, my family caused me to lose interest in cooking decades ago. My husband will have no cheese, casseroles, or home cooked vegetables, and he likes only fried foods which I don't do since my grease fire. My girls were vegetarians and my son ate no vegetables. No one drinks milk except my husband who drinks 3 gallons of whole milk a week. Now that the kids are gone, my mom has come with her eating issues. She only wants sweets and fried foods which upset her digestive system, and I have to deal with that mess. Now I have food issues. What happened to the fun in eating?
I hope you manage to have fun with your mom. Or at least, I hope she has fun, and you can feel good about that. I don't even know where you grew up. I was born in Florence but moved to Huntsville before I was a year old. So Huntsville is my home.

Well, of course I knew all this... (there -- super powers granted -- *grin*)... Okay, truth be told I knew SOME of it. But you used to have salespeople call you to tell you they had something they thought you would like? !!! I AM SO JEALOUS! :))

What a fun read, my friend. Robyn's idea, but Maria's questions are great too.

Yes, I had fun with Robyn's too -- kinda fun to answer silly questions about oneself that you very rarely, if ever, actually think about!! ;) ;) And, oh, yeah -- I was fashionista...especially with shoes!! ;) ;) Another life time, though... :) :) Thanx for the review and be sure to take care of you and Miss Priss! :) Yvette

1. What did you want to be when you were small?
"An astronaut, of course! Seriously, I knew everything there was to know about the Space Program to include all of the Shuttle systems, their strengths, weaknesses, etc. I didn't start science projects in physics in fifth grade for nothing, you know! ... Now why doesn't this answer--above all your other answers--surprise me, Yvette? Could it be that ever since I met you you have always seemed to be a little "out there?"
Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-a-aaa...
Just joking, of course...aren't I?
Anyhow, thanks for allowing us to get to know you a bit better.
Have a g-r-r-r-r-r-r-eat weekend.

You're such a funny man, Sir Dean!! :) I have certainly never claimed to be 'normal' .... gosh, that would be a most horrid adjective, I believe! ;) :) And, yes, I do believe I will take "out there" ... it is a wonderful place to be -- I'll even save you a place in the shade! ;) :) Take care! ;) Yvette
reply by Dean Kuch on 16-Jun-2019
Who gets to decide what is normal and what isn't anyhow?
    Besides, "normal" translates to "boring".
We--you and I--are anything but boring, LOL.
    You do the same, Yvette.

Hey, My Southern Rockette! ;) ... I love these answers, but for some reason, I'm thinking that you've done this already... am I wrong? (smh) Didn't you tell me how to cut and paste this thing? (hmmmm...) or am I out of my mind? (should I stop drinking Coke and go get some wine?) ;)

In any case... as to your answers... I love that you wanted to be an astronaut when you were little! Are you really claustrophobic? That's such a shame! I could so see you up there... kicking Alien ass! lol Doing cool space experiments and doing Space Classroom TV! :)

As to the bread... when you're done teaching... make yourself a little extra happy with a part-time job at Panera. :) I did 4 years there... great food! Fresh bread all day long... :) (I'm on that train too... yum... a restaurant that has fresh rolls on the table with SOFT butter gets a super bonus!)

I love your warning label... and did the stores really call you??? That's crazy!!! Girl, you must have some closets!
Will you pack me in a suitcase when you decide to travel? I'll shove a passport in my pocket in case I get caught! LOL

Loved these answers! :)

No, I've never done this....I sent you the template that I made for me to use, but I hadn't used it yet! ;) ;) Yes, the Coke is doing you no good... switch to the fermented grapes! :) ;)
Oh, yeah, astronaut was the goal for a while...but life happens! And, yes, claustrophobia - though undiagnosed professionally - is definitely a thing! ;) ;)
Before we moved out into the country, we lived really close to a Panera and they folks there knew me by name (our small apartment at the time made me claustrophobic...lol!) -- best breads and the variety is wonderful!! ;) ;) Lost a lot of my stuff in our fire and grand thefts a few years ago, but, yeah, they called me on the phone.... a few designer departments in particular and definitely a certain shoe!! ;)
And if my husband's not ready to travel in the next few years, you will certainly be on my call list....cuz I am going to travel1! ;) ;)
Thanx for the review, Beautiful Friend!! ;) ;) Yvette
