Slippery slope indeed! You'll end up in a pile at the bottom on day - but won't you have had fun on the way? (That rhymes - did you notice?) lol oohh not enough characters. :(

Hahaha, being bad is so much fun! Thanks for reviewing this one too.

You're very prolific. I had to scroll down pages and pages!!!

I get something on nearly every day; I am in a writing binge and i figure if it's coming out of me I might as well put it on the site... it does mean I have to review a lot though to get some $$$.

If you're on a roll, go for it. I joined here to try to restoke the fire and get me writing again. It's sort of working. Any writing is better than no writing I guess.

That's right. I have found that the more I write, the more I write. It's got a bit obsessive. But I am also a competitive person and like to see that I am progressing up the 'charts'.

A nice one.Kinda cynical too. Good job Lisa. Eating whatever we want, be as lazy and to be controlled by greed too. Then, lust, wrath and pride except envy. You covered almost all. I like the way you wrote it.A very clever idea indeed.
Thank you for sharing.

There's a devil on the air such a joy of despair. Having fun at peoples needs and all you do is plant the seeds. :) You're either having fun today or wishing for some, LisaMay. We all live in this mud ball siding and slipping and wanting it all. :)

I love this. It's so much fun. I also love your adorable artwork and the great title.
I think there's a typo: anyone is just one word.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for commenting on the typo. I think I initially kept it separate to help with the reading rhythm, but you are right - it is incorrect, so I fixed it.

HAHAHAHAHA--well, off-meter or not, this poem is a charmer. Yep (re: your notes), slippery slope, but SO much fun. *grin*

So tell me, what's for din-din?

It's fun to be naughty, even if only in a poem.
Din-din is too much of everything, and then back for second helpings and a double-dose of dessert.
reply by Dawn Munro on 26-May-2019
    Dessert first. :))
reply by the author on 26-May-2019
Indeed... life is short, eat pudding first!!
reply by Dawn Munro on 26-May-2019
Pie. But pudding is good too. :) And cherry cheesecake. And macadamia, white chocolate cookies. And apple crumble. And pineapple squares, and strawberry shortcake. Did I mention pie? :))))))))))

Stop stop stop... my tummy is rumbling and I'm drooling.
reply by Dawn Munro on 26-May-2019
    :)) Key lime.

Pineapple upside down cake with lots of whipped cream -- the real stuff, not the edible oil, imitation junk :)

    Mmmmmm. How fat are YOU??
reply by Dawn Munro on 26-May-2019
HAHAHAAHAAAA! Fat. Chubby. Cute. HAHAHAHAHA! My cat is fat too. :)) It's genetic. HAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA!

LOL! This poem is most humorous! The easy path seems so much fun until the day of reckoning and judgement. I love the little devil figure you chose for this theme. Good job on this one!

I'm pleased it brought you enjoyment. I had fun enjoying all those naughty sins... NOT. Please don't think me evil. I'm a good girl really I am.

This was soooo funny! Thanks for my Saturday evening laugh. On my second read, I decided Gluttony was my favourite verse. And then I got to lust and just howled. Your word choices are so vivid! Great work.

So, the hot saucy, sinful lust is howl-inducing?? You wicked woman.
Thanks for enjoying my poem and reviewing it.
reply by LG Wolfe on 25-May-2019
I also laughed that this was labelled 'Commentary and Philosophy' rather than 'Satire.' It may have lead to some confusion.
reply by the author on 25-May-2019
Thanks for pointing that out... I didn't scroll down far enough to find 'satire'. I changed it now. But the other category of 'commentary and philosophy' is true enough too, just not my personal philosophy of life, but it might fit other people.
reply by LG Wolfe on 25-May-2019
Ah yes, that's true. It's just that I noticed some of the comments.

This lively, rollicking piece makes excellent use of specific examples to describe the person who delights in his/her sin--relishes bad behavior; the worse, the better. The end, though, is cautionary!

Retribution is waiting in the wings! I like how you describe my satirical poem... 'rollicking' is such a bouncy word.

This was so Evily penned on the hems of your skirt!
But beautifully created.
You mounted each sin so perfectly.
Then blended it sexually.
...
As I saw the first one in large print, I said she going to do it and yes you did.
Well worthy of my Sinful six!
...
And, as a Latter-Day Saint, we all believe that pride is what's wrong with this Earth today.
Envy should have been first.

Thank you so much for this star-bright review Ricky. Much appreciated. I was somewhat anxious when I wrote this that folks might think I am a debauched sinner! I am glad you recognised it's satire. "Pride goeth before a fall" is a slightly inaccurate interpretation of the Biblical reference but still suits the situation in the world today... so many people are wobbling on the brink.

Ah, Lisa, you appear to be having lots of fun writing this poem about your sinful doings. You do a great job of listing your "devilish deeds" and it's obvious you don't regret any of your actions--yet. Rod

Just as well I am not really a wayward hedonist and have written satire: I'd be a bit worried about myself otherwise!
reply by RodG on 25-May-2019
Ah, glad to hear the Speaker is only your alter ego. I enjoyed the satire. Rod
reply by the author on 25-May-2019
My alter ego is such an egoist she hogs the page in most writes of mine.
