How do you find all these different poetry forms, Tom? This one suited your photo perfectly. It sometimes amazes me how strong the wind can be, but how much stronger the trees are, and how they fight back against the wind's breath. I really enjoyed reading this poem, my friend. Sorry for the lateness. It's catch up time for many of my messages. This was worth catching up with. :)) Sandra xx

Recently did you not do a poem similar to this form make it look like a butterfly. This is an interesting format and you achieved it well.

A very well-written Fibonacci about the arching boughs of the tree from all the winds and elements of nature's impact that Bends the tree over the years. We see the trees on the south coast also bending like this from South easter blowing around Cape Town.

Thank you Sandra, I appreciate your comments and review. I see this often along coastlines where the winds are strong.

This is a very well-written, thought-provoking poem. Your comparison
of the tree and the human being bent by time is very descriptive and moving. I love the multiple rhymes.

"This wind bent tree that I captured along a path in the park testifies to the impact unseen forces can have on an individual's growth." Tom, This is so true in all phases of life. This is a well formed poem. Very attractive in it's form. You have a talent for finding unusual things to photograph. Well done my friend. Nancy:)

I have a switch in my brain that sets to 'off' the moment the maths gets too difficult. This for me tends to happen around the seven times table. I can appreciate the beauty of the curve achieved by the fibonacci sequence what it has to do with 1.614 or PHI is lost on me.
No. Please don't try to explain. Without your clever rhymimg and the curve produce this would have no significance for me.

Thank you Pantygynt. I agree, With some rhyming it would be pretty boring.

I like the way you compared how the tree and people are affected by pressures around them. It's a beautiful photo, and I liked the shape of the poem's lines. I'm amazed that you figured out this hard form.

I am so pleased you were inspired by the wind bent tree you recently photographed and captured the scene in this Fibonacci form. I appreciated your informative notes as well. I admired your end and internal rhymes in the first stanza and your comparison to humans in the second. Big cheers- Joan

Our environment plays a huge part in our development on this earth, whether we see the sun or only the rain, whether we are nurtured or ignored, I loved the philosophy here, much enjoyed, love Dolly x
