I so love this artwork. . .nothing beats the laughter of a child. I also think the words fit this artwork perfectly. When I first read it, it instantly made me smile. Then I kept looking at it and thought more about the balance and wanted to give you my thoughts. When I think of laughter and smiling I always think that the smiles come first. . .then laughter. So then I find myself trying to rearrange your poem, sorry. I know, it has to follow the contest rules and of course it works perfectly that way, so I'll move on. :)

Thanx for your wonderful comments.... it's okay that you tried to rearrange it 'cuz I'm the only one with the password, so try away! :) LOL! LOL! Seriously, I'm so very glad it made you smile, moongirl -- that smile of yours is worth it! ;) ;) Thank you for dropping by and have a wonderful weekend ahead! ;) ;) Yvette

So glad you could see the humor. . .I would have felt terrible if you hadn't. :) Have a blessed Easter weekend.

I was thinking about you mentioning that you block your work. . .first and foremost, I didn't mean I was trying to change it on your page (just in my head). I didn't even know that was possible. . .but, how rude of someone even thinking this would be appropriate. When I write a review. . .if something bothers me about the writing, I just try to think it through on how I would write it. . .nothing more. Again, I do hope you took this in the spirit intended. :)

I'm a computer programmer/physicist/teacher -- the password thing was a JOKE. a JOKE. Sorry if it fell flat... And, yeah, there are reviewers who regularly try to 're-write' posts through their reviews, but that's just a thing with them, I guess. I don't take it seriously. Thought I made that clear in my original response. Again....a JOKE. :) :) :) :) :)

That's what I did think at first but then when you mentioned you had blocked any entry, I second guess myself. Alls well, thanks for explaining.

Sounds like words of wisdom.
It is a nice poem to match the picture and your choice of font colors.
You have the correct amount of syllables.
Congratulations on your awards.

I like the artwork. It is so colorful and happy. It illustrates the poem well.
The poem gives good advice. If everyone followed it, maybe there would be less violence.
Congrats on placing third in the contest.

This is an awesome poem.
It makes me think of the preschoolers, that I work with. A child does just that, paints with laughter. As we get older, sometimes our laughter fades. This is a great reminder to never stop smiling.

Ha, ha, chuckle! Could use the paint, I especially like polkadot paint, but it's so hard to find. Chuckle!

Oh, what a charming picture, doesn't it just make you smile?? Aww. Your words are just so perfect to go with it, Yvette, and it's true, paint your world with laughter, wherever you go, and you and the people around you won't fail to smile. Well done and good luck in the contest. :) Sandra xxx

An imaginative conveyance, filled with thought-provoking concepts about addressing daily living, suggesting proper seasoning to enhance main ingredient. All in my opinion.

Thanx so much for stopping in on this one, TPAC -- I was having one of my really SUNSHINEY days .... I try to make them all that way even when the clouds like to try to muscle their way in! :) ;) Take care! :) ;) Yvette

The artwork is amazing. It matches your theme of this poem so well. There's nothing more special than hearing a child's laughter. I like the metaphor of "Paint" with the wonderful painting you found on Pixels. The artwork, as well as the poem, asks us to "paint" our world with laughter and "accent" it with our smile. What better way is there than to show and share, this philosophy with the world. A much better world we would be, if we, did just that. Thank you for bringing a smile to my face by my reading this piece. Have a wonderful rest of your week.
Take care, Jesse

Oh, Jesse, always so good to hear from you sir! :) ;) This one was 'all me' with no necessary flourishes or masks -- even when the clouds try to muscle their way in, I always try to make a little sunshine happen! :) ;) Glad you enjoyed it and I cannot agree more that the world would be SO DIFFERENT if more folks tried the sunshine rather than the storm cloud approach! :) ;) Take care out there and have a great weekend! ;) ;)

Hello Yvette
Parts of you are so complicated and yet, this poem shows so well your sunshine philosophy, in all its simplicity. No masks, all you. Thank you for being you!
