This is an entertaining tale. The description is well-crafted and thoughtful and the reader is able to visualise the scene. The dialogue is authentic and helps to move the action forward. The reader is able to empathise with the characters and it's a paerfect St. Patrick's Day read. The only thing Imwould revisit is a consistent spelling for 'Dungarvon' as it also appears as 'Dungarvan' - the latter is the one I regularly encounter on my County Waterford outings. Thanks for sharing.

That was so nice. There is nowhere quite as nice as home when you retire. The green fields of Ireland are sure to welcome home a long lost son. I could even imagine them together going over old times as if it were only yesterday. That is true friendship. Lovely story, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Wonderful descriptions of the Irish countryside. You made me feel quite nostalgic as I sit here looking out over a parched landscape. 7mm of rain in the past 4 months.
I enjoyed your account of the bus journey - especially the John Cleese moment - and the pen picture of Dermot.
