Sally, you're well verse in knowledge about the Socialism regime, the share of wealth. I am not all I see is someone telling me what to do. If I raise my voice I am a radical trying to bring the nation to it's knees, if I say nothing I become one of the forgotten and get walked over. It appears that nobody is right if everybody is wrong. All I know is that "Thou shall love thy neighbor, do not steal or kill and try not to sin." I only follow my God and is Son. Yet, I know that we all need that dollar, for that makes the world go round, many times in sin. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you dear poet. You know I value your opinion and like to hear what you have to say. Thanks for being honest with me. Socialism is a candy-coated poisonous apple. Looks and tastes good until it kills ya. The price tag on the New Green Deal is in the ballpark of $51-93 trillion dollars over ten years. Does the average American understand what the democrats are trying to sell us in the socialism package? We are in serious trouble if these socialist get elected. I love my grandkids too much to hand them this fiasco. ?I drove the Chevy to the Levy and the Levy was dry!?

Bernie Sanders and progressive Democrats favor a modern form of socialism that is common in Europe. Countries like Sweden have the HAPPIEST populations on earth and the best standard of living. They enjoy free speech, free health care and a good public education. Yes, the taxes are higher, but you get what you pay for. I think a goal of government is to provide basic services to it's people. What could be more basic than public education, infrastructure upkeep, and healthcare? I agree that Venezuela's situation is tragic. However, the real culprit is economic inequality from what I've read, that and corruption. I am not sure why things turned out so badly down there, but I suspect it's more complicated than you present. Anyways, I applaud you for searching for answers. Good luck to you.

Thank you so much for the excellent review and comments. I appreciate your thoughts and input. This article is more from my heart birthed from years of research and study.
The New Green Deal has me concerned at the tune of somewhere between $51-93 trillion dollars over ten years. Included in the package is healthcare for all. I love my children and grandchildren too much, and owe it to the ones in my family who served in the military to continue in my beliefs that socialism is not for America. I will stay true to my God and our protected rights and freedoms as guaranteed in our Constitution. What we have is a far cry better than any social state, thus prompting my article. Economic inequality is the basic core belief of socialism in my understanding. I own and run a company although I am blind. I write, too. Honesty and hard work is still a good thing in my book. I am blessed I live in a country that I am still able to do these things.

As I see see society deteriorate, I remember Jesus said it would be darkest before His return. He also said many would turn away from the faith, listening to false teachings. This would apply. Thank you so much for the excellent review and support in my writing. I agree with you, as I am the CEO of my family business and see the value of hard work. I was brought up this way and so was my husband. We own our family business together. Since I have become blind, I am more of a figurehead these days, whereas Jack runs the company and the day to day operations. Once you give up to Socialism, is there any going back? I think not.

Regarding the P.S., yes, I know. The sheer magnitude of what we face today is intentionally so overwhelming that "normalcy bias" causes most people to to resign themselves to inaction and avoidance of thought about it to escape the otherwise inevitable stress. Yet, if a mere ten percent of the population woke up and acted in concert, the whole threat could be dismantled rather quickly.

Some of this has been happening here already. Not long ago, a family of home-schooled children were taken from their home. After a long battle, the parents finally got them back. As you know, the courts can decide so much of our destiny now. It's only going to get worse, but I have confidence in our President Trump.

Thank you so much for the excellent review and insightful comments. Yes, my grandkids are homeschooled and also belong to a co-op school for additional schooling. They are all doing very well. My oldest has a high I.Q. He is able to excel in that home environment. I would cry if they were in a situation not of their own choosing. The social state doesn?t care.
