This poem, I Pray, reveals to the readers that some childhood event or situation has been set aside through the faith in a God who can lift our hearts and minds away from the world and into a realm of truth and peace. Nice.

A very powerful sentiment expressed in these well written abcb rhymed quatrains. You should get someone to set it to music, as it would make an excellent anthem for the battered of the world.

This is outstanding! Your artwork told the story, as well. Most writers don't realize how important artwork is to their piece and how it frames--enhancing the words. Thank you for sharing these deep emotions and I am so glad to hear that God has healed this terrible thing done to you. I, too, had a past like yours. My Lord did the same for me.
