Hello Nassus,
This is an interesting poem
but isn't the adult supposed to set the example.
Sadly, it is not only a social issue, but a health issue
I think the ideal is somewhere in the middle
some of the skinny looks are just as bad of the overweight
Good picture to match the issue

Yep, Oz has some of the fattest kids in the world, fast food is killing us. The fun write was a true write. My dad used to say 'the only diet is to push yourself away from the table." Difficult this time of year! Happy Christmas.

If you conquered a weight problem then maybe you should share your techniques here? Yes, the weight problem is rampant and needs to be addressed, not explained, or maybe it does need to be explained? Explatations, perhaps, don't make it easier.

Interesting poem Nassus, though it's not biographical and is a fun poem, there is also a lot of truth to it. I love coooking and cooked from a very early age, but it is hard to not do the 'taste test', lol.

This is the perfect example of a poem that shows that you are now at peace with who you are also who you used to be. Congratulations on conquering those demons because it is not easy. It takes grit and determination. I have not struggled with my weight, well if anything I struggled with being underweight when I was younger and got mistaken for someone who had an eating disorder when I actually didn't, but I know how hard it is to find the motivation to change your lifestyle and become the person that you want to be. Well done for having a sense of humour about it, your poem made me smile and I'm sure lots of people particularly parents like yourself will relate to this poem. X

As an appreciative husband, father and grandfather, I think that mother should get an immediate pass on whatever shape their bodies my be in at any given time. The miracle of carrying and delivering us and our offspring is deserving of any kind thoughts, consideration and praise that is available to give. In short, to all mothers, thank you.
