I can sure relate to this poem... LOL, when you got kids to feed and you're the cook and you like your own cooking very much... Seems to add little baggage to the butt doesn't it? LOL this was an enjoyable read, one that I could surly relate to.

The author's words are interesting, creative and thought provoking.
The poem flows and connects well. The reader thought about her
battle with weight - I am glad my children are grown! The artwork
is perfect and compliments this poem.

I'm not sure if this if funny or sad.;)
I'm obsessed with my weight, even though I'm not too heavy, but I still cannot resist sweets.
Thanks for sharing.

Weight gain is a pain especially when you have growing kids with a ravenous appetite. It is hard to choose all the good calories.

Cheers, Susan;
> while I've been there and that awful up-and-down roller coaster ride with weight, but not anymore. Christmas of 2017 I said I was going to lose enough pounds get to 220 and I weighed 266 at the time and I know way 222.
And staying there...
> It's a rough one in your poetry explains the silliness of it all but sometimes it is very hard for some to lose weight and I feel sorry for them.
> Thanks for sharing, soon, take care and have a good one.

NASSUS

When you are committed to others it is difficult to tend to yourself. There is little energy left for that. Eating is comforting. You do the best you can with what you got and can't feel bad for doing anything but that. Good poem.
