Thanks new friend. I am trying to build up the funny money over on Tootsie55 to promote all my wife's trip stories as many were a bit disappointed I did not detail them more on this side for reasons already explained. See you here or there.

You are a very talented poet and it takes a good sense of humor to see the light side of life's hard issues. I have a lot going on, as well. I take one day at a time, a gift from God. If I like too far ahead, I am usually overwhelmed. I live in Florida with my husband and family, grandkids...all over the place. I hope you are able to read some of my short works. "Look Up and Behold" just made All Time Best. I write humor, spiritual, philosophy and short stories of my colorful life experiences growing up. And, just recently poetry. I hope you can stop by!

Hi Sal for short hehe. I am a great believer in Reciprocating reviewing. I wanted to start a group but Tom said there was a rule against a reciprocating group. A great one on getting old, Sankey. It reminded me of "Father Superman" who just died a couple of days ago at 95 but still seemed as fit as a fiddle both mentally and physically.

I guess we all age differently.

Getting older certainly presents its problems, doesn't it? I turned 60 two weeks ago and so many things have changed again.

I had some horrible blood tests, and now it feels like I'm running to the doctor every other day for something or the other.

It tires me just to think about it,

Did you mean "careering" or "careening"? Hard to get older and a tough battle to stay healthy when you do. Never thought I'd ever be on medication for life, but I am on five different ones. blood pressure, cholesterol, gout, and two arthritis ones.

Yeah well sounds like we are on similar meds I have 3 for blood pressure and heart. The Hydrocortisone one. Cholesterol and a pill goes with the Hydrocortisone to get the Blood Sugar level down because of the Hydrocortisone. Fish Oil and a Vitamin D. I was on an Iron tablet till recently as well. Will check the careening versus the careering.
