Sally, I believe God led me to this work of yours. For His reasons, not all known to me. My guess is that we as Christians must proclaim the Good News, as you have splendidly and lovingly done in this work. Then, I am very concerned about the decline of Biblical values and replacing them with "anything goes", what you also discuss. And, in the wake of your election ( I am not American) I see the struggle for power but it is all a deception. So Jesus Christ is the only power and Answer and the more we say it publicly the more His light shines.

Thank you Donka for your stellar review and insightful comments. Yes, a lot is going on. The struggle is as you perceive and and age old one. I am remaining in prayer and hopefulness as the election approaches and beyond. I read the end of the book and we win! Jesus Christ?s return is soon, I believe, so I am hoping in what the Bible states as truth for our future as Christians. We will be richly rewarded for our faith and perseverance. The Holy Spirit is within us to lead us through these difficulties. My state is on the line, too. A socialist is running for governor.
Looking forward to my heavenly dwelling with Christ. I pray you are well, safe and good.

Hi, Sal,

Thank you so much for this loving and positive message. It is so true that we do have HOPE in Christ. He came and died to allow us to have HOPE and be free from the ravages of sin. I believe He saves us not only from our sin but the sins of others, too.

This world seems very bleak right now. I can't watch the news either. I do try to watch some so that I'm not totally clueless, but who wants to know about all the pain and angst?

To look upon Jesus is immediate help and hope. This I know for a fact. Whether it was my sin or sin done to me as you stated. He brings what is needed and gives HOPE in the process. Trouble is, we were given free will and the way we are using it now will not be conducive to ever finding peace with or without God's help. Thank you Bob! Yes, I agree with you. We have the free will to choose! I find that choosing Him is always the best choice in every situation. Not that I always do that. Hopefully, I am older and wiser now to do it more often than not!

It's so nice to be reminded we are in God's sight, His care, at every moment. Your thoughts of faith leave a sense of hope since it is real for you in the experience of God's love.
There are moments when I can only pray:
I believe Lord, help Thou my unbelief!
as I remember He won't allow me any more than I can bear...it's amazing how much more He thinks I can handle than I do! He's always right. ð???

Amen! Thank you. Please be praying my husband finds a job soon. He was laid off at the end of August. His severance pay ends the last week of November. He is in IT. thanks
