Fiery and ALIVE, apky! Thanx for your read and review -- your positive response is so very much appreciated! Somewhere in all this PC nonsense, we've lost the true depth of human passion and what an awesome, truly AWESOME, thing it is!! :) ;) ;) Thanx for stopping by today -- Liliana and Antonio are both appreciative as am I -- and may you have a wonderful remainder of the weekend! :) ;) Yvette :)

Excellent writing. Action was very well described. Most men, besides Italian men, think below the waist while all women think with their hearts, a large percent anyway. good luck in the contest .

Thank you so very much for the read and review, Tpa, -- your positive response is so very much appreciated! And, yes, I believe you are right to some extent, although I believe it is simply more natural for a man to put that foot forward first...as, many times, it is a bit too 'manly' to show the heart! LOL :) ;) ;) Thanx for stopping by today -- Liliana and Antonio are both appreciative -- and may you have a wonderful remainder of the weekend! :) ;) Yvette :)

Hi Yvette, this is a great flash, and so full of great passion and true Latin temperament. Well, I should know. I live in Spain, after all. A shame you feel you have to put on that severe warning. What is so extreme about it, after all? I don't know, I would take that warning away, and just leave your notes, which already states it has sexual contents. The prudes can then skip it. I hope you do really well in the contest. All the best. Ulla:)))

LOL, yes, their passion is legendary, I love to listen to an angry Italian lady, I've often wished I could learn the language so I could rant the same way. This is a really good flash fiction, I think the man won this argument. LOL! Good luck in the contest. :) Sandra xxx

Thank you so very much for the read and review, Sandra, -- your positive response is so very much appreciated! And, yes, they have an almost beautiful way of ranting...even when it is aimed in your direction, it cannot help but make you smile...which, of course, increases the rant (or at least the profanity with which it is laced!). :) ;) ;) Thanx for stopping by today -- Liliana and Antonio are both appreciative -- and may you have a wonderful remainder of the weekend! :) ;) Yvette :)

a true Latin Lover that Antonio. one factor your graph overlooks is frequency in the male subject. I can illustrate with an unknown quote " if a man is getting sex every day but is starving----a baloney sandwich looks better than a BJ every time. good luck in your contest, I see your name on the winner list a lot lately. congrats...............meeshu

LOL! :) :) Thanx for the honest review..oh! and I totally agree with the BJ/boloney input -- I know you don't get onto the 'prose' side much, but I wrote a story just a few weeks ago that sortof played to the 'food' thing..and thanx for not taking offense at the author notes...really meant none, but many took them as such. Funny how there can be extremely dark poems about abuse and other such depths of human depravity but you actually venture into something like this - real passion and strong personalities (especially strong REAL male personalities) - and ...... well, I'm just gonna say I enjoyed this write!!! :) ;) Enough blonde ramblings for the day -- you have a wonderful weekend with that beautiful wife of yours!! :) ;)
Oh, and if the two of you appear some day, I promise to give you both iced tea and a slice of whatever the cake that week happens to be (see? Cake!! cuz I know all about the many ways to my hubby's heart!) -- blessings!! :) ;) Yvette :)

to even suggest there might differences between men and women is going to ruffle some PC feathers. what is the title of the prose?
-
Keeper of the House -- horrors! :) :) Don't feel obligated, Gary, was just lettin' you know that I had that base covered too! :) I would tell you the secret to a happy marriage that my grandmother shared with me before I said 'I do' all those years ago....but you have to tell me first that it won't 'offend' (because, fair warning, I'm from Southern Louisana and have the French and Italian blood lines goin' on!!) -- lol!
-
I want to read Everything and I am offended by Nothing. so fire away, I gotcha covered.
-
"You should always be a good mother to his children, an untiring chef in his kitchen, and a whore in his bed" .... yeah, listen carefully: I'm pretty sure you just heard the shrill and offended cries of the poor, fragile millennials ... or maybe they died of actual shock and mock outrage ... whichever, they are definitely now scarred for life!! Hope you're not!! :) :)

This is a different world than I am accustomed to. I do not like violence. Even if it leads to powerful sensual passion.
I read your Author's notes after the flash fiction, and I can see where you are coming from, being a scientist and mathematician. And, I agree with your conclusion, that there will always be differences between men and women, that we should embrace them. I just don't enjoy aggression in any form. Call me a pacifist. Yes, I guess I am. The piece was written well, and interesting in a cultural sense. Sorry, I did not review this earlier.
Take care, Jesse

Thank you very much for your read and review, Jesse -- and no apologies necessary 'cuz when you're relaxing with the Beatles, sometimes you just need to chill!!! :) ;) Just know that Liliana and Antonio appreciate your taking the time! :) :) And, if everyone were like their fiery personalities, we'd probably all kill each other -- takes ALL types of personalities, loves, likes, and dislikes to make the world go 'round ... I wouldn't want it any other way, would you?!! :) ;) As always, thanx for stopping by today and have a wonderful weekend! :) ;)
-
Hi Yvette
You make some excellent points about how it takes all kinds to make the world 'round. I love the Beatles, and yes, I just needed to chill for a while and listen to them. One thing I want to say. You are willing to take risks and I love that about you. You write an array of different posts, and I'll bet not everyone 'gets' where you're coming from. But I appreciate the risks you take and will try to always be open to what you write in your posts. Enjoy your weekend, as well.
Take care, Jesse

Boy, you can say that again -- some of the "reviews" I get are, well, let's just say, noteworthy. :) :) But I do so very much appreciate your compliment about the variety of topics I address -- I do my darnedest not to pigeon-hole myself, besides there's SO MUCH TO CHOOSE FROM!!! Oh my goodness - if I were independently wealthy and didn't have to work, I could write all the time in poetry and prose ... and never run out of material!! :) ;) It might have to do with my blondeness - who knows - but I find interest and wonder in just about everything...except gore/morbidity (I have to say that I do not delight in or get excited about that genre - the world has enough 'dark' so adding more doesn't compute with me). :) :) Take care and keep writing! :) Yvette
-
Hi Yvette
You sure don't pigeon-hole yourself, that's for sure. What do you mean, your 'blondeness'? Is your hair color blonde? I try not to stereotype people, so I don't judge you by the color of your hair, by any means. Anyway, I love your broad range of interests. It keeps your work special. I don't like gore either. Some of these new movies, with all their gore and violence, really don't do it for me. I will keep writing, as I know you will keep writing, too.
Take care, Jesse
-
Yep-- been a blonde all my life...put some red in there a few years ago and liked the combination so, now I have both (oh! and an excuse for losing my patience, too)!! :) :) :) LOL! Have a great Sunday afternoon, sir! :)
-
Is it true, blondes have more fun? You sure seem to have a lot of fun with life, so maybe it's true. Enjoy your afternoon, and evening, too!
Jesse

My first foray into the adult section, and I survived! I think you captured the passion in the characters very well.I like your explanation notes especially about the drama. Where would writers be without the conflict of drama? Nice job!

Thank you very much for your read and review, Earl -- glad you survived your foray and that you actually enjoyed Liliana and Antonio! :) :) And, yeah, writing without conflict wouldn't be worth much of the trouble, huh? LOL! :) ;) Thanx for stopping by today and have a wonderful weekend! :) ;)

The crazier a woman ,the better she is in bed!
what about men? the crazier they are the better they are in bed?
Anyway feminist points aside, it was a funny write and a domestic scene has been beautifully portrayed. i liked the way she cooled down, fifference in tone between two 'bastardos' is remarkable
