wahhhh. I'm so sad. Mildred...NO! You've done a wonderful job of making fall in Loe with your characters and I'm sad to see her go. I like how you tied it all up before she went. She HAD to be a part of the 'end story' since she'd been there all along.
Congratulations on the ribbons!! :-D

LOL, I love your reviews, Rebecca, they always make me smile. Yes, Mildred had to know how it ended. Thank you so much for another fabulous review, my dear friend. Big hugs. Sandra xxxx

Another well written chapter. I like how Veronica is concerned about Mildred and takes care of serving the tea and then washing the dishes. This held my interest, once again I did not find any errors. Very well done. Thanks for sharing.

LOL, you are the third person to do that! I'm glad it didn't spoil it for you. I'll be working on the third book soon. Thank you, my friend. Sandra xxx

This is so interesting! I am fascinated by this story, with the premise that these people are able to go back in time and inhabit the body of another person. That would be so interesting - I have often wondered what it would be like to be "someone else". Sadly, it seems that your story will be ending soon. But I will read along to the end as I enjoy your subject matter and style of writing,

Thank you so much, Carol, for your lovely review. Yes, this book has come to the end, the last part has already been posted. But, it's leading into the third book in the series. I'm so pleased you like the subject, I've tried to keep it totally different to other time travelling stories. The next book will be such fun to write as I already know how it will go. Thank you for reading this part, I do appreciate your kind words :) Sandra xx

Awwwww, it's hard to say goodbye to such a beloved character. I'm reading this backwards so I know what happened here. I look forward to your third book in this series. I'll be buying the second one as soon as it's available for sale.

Thank you so much, Joy, you've been wonderful! I know how hard it's been for you, being so poorly, and I feel so fortunate to have you as a reader and a friend. Thank you! Love and hugs, Sandra xxx

-The best part of the story is the
information James gets in his ledger.
-It was fascinating in many ways-
he knew it had to be 'the powers,'
he learned about Francis' accomplishment,
and the importance of the Parliament member.
-You have been foreshadowing how Mildred
hadn't bounced back from her heart attack.
-As James said, it isn't unusual; however,
she will have to go in the hospital again,
but I have no doubt she will be fine.
-When she first recovers, the first thing she
will say is "Oh, Lordy, Miss Sandra, what have
you done?!"
-A very good chapter, my friend.
-Extra stars for you and all of the wonderful
characters you have shared with us.

Bless you, my friend. What a lovely review. As always you put that smile on my face. One last part for you to read, (already posted) and then I'll be checking the whole book over before publishing. I can't thank you enough for your encouragement through the months, and the edits you've done. You're a true friend! Big hugs :)) Sandra xxxx

You are very welcome and deserving of the review, Sandra. This was a special one to do.
I thought it might make you smile, too! You are more than welcome for the help.

Hello Sandra,
An excellent chapter to wrap up many of the details of the story.
It now appears James firmly believes in the "powers"
having discovered the entry about Francis.
Surgery was a pretty dicey affair in the late 1800's,
it likely killed more people than it saved.
I guess the MP was one of the lucky ones.
I think your readers will accept the "time meddling" of Veronica
perhaps it was already a part of history that needed a little shove
from V and the "powers."
You've also set up the likelihood of future excursions.
Being an author is wonderful. You can take V anywhere, or anytime you like.
Perhaps she'll be instrumental in the signing of the Magna Carta! lol
Oh Lordy. Imagine that!
Now Mildred will be just find. Would Conan Doyle bump off Watson?
Agatha Christy, Miss Marple? Heavens, no!
But Sandra Mitchell, well, who can tell
what lies in the mind of time-traveling author.
Well done!
Robert

LOL! I love that you would even write my name next to two of my favourite authors, let alone put my character Mildred in the same esteem that Agatha Christy's Miss Marple, and Conan Doyle's Watson has. Thank you, that was quite a compliment, whether meant or not!! lol. Thank you, Robert, for another smile bringing review and more lovely 6 stars. I'm sure you might have already read the final part, I'll be really interested in what you think of the ending. Big hugs, my friend. :) Sandra xxx

Oh, no!!!! How could you kill off Mildred? Maybe Veronica will see her in her time travel.
Poor Mildred. Life won't be the same without her.
I like that Veronica has made a difference in history's outcome. Wouldn't that be wonderful if we could do that, too? 8-)

Thank you so very much for the six stars, even though you didn't like Mildred being killed off. LOL. You must read the next part now. The last part of this book. It's been quite a journey this time, and I'm so thankful for your support, my friend. I would love to be able to do what Veronica does. Perhaps my next time round? Thank you, dear friend. :)) Sandra xx

I don't know if I can speak to you right now....
This is worse than the ending of the Avengers Infinity War film. :-(
You can NOT be putting the kibosh on Mildred.
I will not let you. :-(

Lovin' that your vernacular... So much fun to read and it places me back into the 19th century... strong character development as well as atmosphere. Great job. But you know that. yours, diana
