This poem about emotions, Envy, brings us down the classic path of the green monster until we come to hop-scotch squares that will get those ta-tas into tease mode.

How fun! That last line caught me by surprise. With each line I was getting more anxious to find out what it was exactly that captured the neighbors attention. The poem captures the envy well--the neighbors repeated attempts to check your new figure out. And, the protagonist's obvious delight in seeing her envious neighbor so entranced. A lighthearted poem--a nice break from the heavier emotions.

How funny! I hope you eventually give in and give the neighbor a peek! :) Your ending took me by surprise. I kept wondering...what's making that neighbor green with envy.

This speaks an emotion shared as the neighbour was found envious of getting something precious from the poet as poet thought it was more precious than diamond; well said, well done. DR ALCREATOR

I will admit I did not see that end coming! Haha either way very excellent piece! Great entry to represent envy, very dangerous emotion. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for reading. You said it was excellent so why only 4 stars?

Maybe. Maybe not. Seems to me, big new boobies suggests
low self-esteem. Over-compensation.
A case of self-delusion, perhaps?
Just a suspicion.
Peace, Lee
