This thirty-syllable poem, Brain in Overload, uses those limited syllables to acknowledge the mental olympics which keep the brain fit. Fun to write.

Comment from Gloria ....
It looks like your brain is doing just fine Christine. It's even developed and mind of its own. I was going to count the syllables then ran out of fingers.
A most ingenious poem and good for nabbing two birds with one stone. :)

Hi Gloria, A bit of fun and this was not supposed to end up in my book I didnt add it as it was purely written for the writing prompt but somehow got added however it was a bit of fun and probably doesnt matter although I do want quality in my book and this is really not and there are far better 30 syllables poem in this contest Thanks for reading it anyway Cheers Christine 4 down 26 to go Ha ha

LOL. I like this. Very cleverly expressed short poem. It reflects the frustration of trying to do so much and we all fall behind. Love the image. Good luck in the contest. Marilyn

Hi Marilyn, thanks for this review and this was not meant to be put in my April listing I didn't add it so not sure how it is advertised as in I will contact Tom to see if I can have it removed form the list as it is meant to be in another contest. Anyway Cheers for your review and yes I am behind also Cheers

I loved your picture! A real brain in overload (lol). Yes, this is a huge undertaking, writing 30 poems in a month (I can't do that), but to write one in 30 syllables is also a big task. Very witty and whimsical. Put a big smile on my face.
Good luck in both contests (smile).

I think this is a good poem for the 30 Syllables writing prompt.
Your story of writing 30 poems starting with this 30 syllables is good.
Well done and good luck to you with the competition.
