Lovely chapter!

Great writing with this one Sandra. Nice descriptive bits with the whole interchange between Joe and Rosie.

Nice ending, leaving us with anticipation over the meeting with Sir John.

Bravo.

He certainly has, but he has the perfect match in Rosie!! lol. I remember my gran washing in tubs because there was no main running water inside, or toilets. How far we've come in the last 100 years or so! Thanks, my fiend. Big hugs, hope you had a lovely Easter! xxxx Sandy.

Wow, Sandra, this was a beautifully written chapter, and I had so much fun reading it. What a spectacular row between Rosie and Joe. I can't wait to read about the meeting between Joe and Sir John. The dialect is just perfect and gives so much spice to the story. I'm late reviewing, but I've been so busy here with my builder installing a new gate to my lower terrace, and today I've been with friends at the plaza where a gigantic paella was cooked and dished out to all of us. A great day with lots of fun. A big hug, and Happy Easter. Ulla xxxx

Happy Easter, to you , too, Ulla. I remember having those ginormous Paella's when we lived in Spain. But, tomorrow, Easter Monday, we are having both my son's and their families over for a paella here! Graham loves cooking them, and they all ask him to do one. :)) Thank you so much for the lovely 6 stars, and wonderful review, my friend! I'm delighted you enjoyed the row! Big hugs, and enjoy the rest of Easter! :) Sandra xxx

-This is an excellent chapter
with impeccable dialect, Sandra.
-The argument between
Rosie and Joe really shows their emotions
and how difficult it is for them to
calm down and listen to each other.
-Since Rosie didn't know much about
this, I can understand her feelings, whereas
Joe has been guided by Ver.
and has this really good plan.
-Luckily, Ver. is there to help him out.
-Eventually, she shows Joe how to
get Rosie to listen.
-The ending is a good one, and hopefully
the plan will work out for Francis.

Thank you so much, Pam, for a wonderful review. I'm delighted you think the dialect is good, I can carry on with it now, worry free! Rosie is coming into her own now, and Mildred would be proud of her. :)) Thank you for the lovely array of golden stars, my dear friend, they do look a treat at the top and bottom of your review. Now onward to persuade Sir John! Big hugs, my friend! :)) Sandra xx

You are very welcome and deserving, Sandra. Thank you for mentioning my observation about your use of dialect. It really made the characters real. Yes, Mildred would be proud of Rosie! I am glad you liked the special array of stars, my friend. The scenes with Sir John should be interesting! Have a good day.

Hello Sandra,
Your dialogue and dialect are spot on;
after reading a few chapters, the dialect reads quite smoothly,
not that I know anything about the England in 1846.
Good for Joe!
It looks like all Veronica's planning may finally yield some results.
Of course, knowing how Sandra likes to throw a wrench into the works
who knows what Sir John may say.
One question that occurs to me is why the Powers are so concerned about Frances.
He must play some significant part in the future.
Ah, time will tell.
This is a very well conceived and written chapter that appears move the story forward
quite smoothly.
Well done!
Robert

Hi Robert. You are the only one who has asked me that question about Francis. And there's something else in the earlier chapters the no-one has picked up on, that indirectly concerns him. :)) Thank you so much for the six stars, and the lovely review. I'm really very pleased you think the dialogue and dialect is 'spot on' that is very encouraging! Big hugs, my friend! Sandra xxx

Excellent work in this part, Sandra. I thought your dialect was perfect, and Rosie really shined in this scene. Keep her in mind if you do another project. She's a great character. I made one little note for your consideration. Out of sixes :(

I's said me piece an' the answer's still no!--Wouldn't it be peace? Also, you need a comma before an'.

Take care,
Russell

You're right the dialect is needed. I enjoyed reading and I am so glad Rosie agreed to take the child. I am sure Sir John is going to be much harder to convenience. I do like this story.

Thank you, my dear friend. Sir John will be a problem. Why are men so awkward?? LOL. I am glad you like my story, dear Barbara. Thank you. Sandra xxx . I've nearly finished reading your book, I reckon Paige and Cash will become an item, I can see it happening, and so can Billy Joe and Mary Pat. I read a chapter a night in bed, lol. I'll put a review on Amazon when I've finished it. Umm, is there any buries treasure??? No, don't tell me! xxxx

I thought old Joe was going to get a washing pin upside the head.
I'm glad he took Veronica's advice and calmed down.
He definitely learned a lesson and hopefully he'll be more honest when trying to convince Rosie of anything.
I could see the frustration from both of them as they had a good old fashioned family squabble.
Great job!
Michael

Bless you, Michael! Thank you so much for the 6 stars, on a Saturday as well! I'm so pleased you enjoyed their little argument, Rosie isn't quite the walkover people thought. LOL. Hmm, I think if Veronica hadn't told him to calm down, Rosie might just have used that washing dolly for his head!! Thank you, again, my friend. Big hugs. Sandra xxx
