It is heart-wrenching to think today's children have to suffer this angst, upon going to school. My own grandson spends twice a week learning to "shelter in place" in case some lunatic decides to make innocence his target practice.

This mono-rhyme three line poem succinctly describes and mass
shooting. It is sad that we have events that inspire these words
to be written.
Congrats on placing second in the contest

Congratulations on winning second place in this contest, Diane. I think you should have been awarded first place, myself. Great three-liner. I am glad to see you win second anyway. :) Bob

Well written poem, and so true. Nice tie-in to a real world current issue. The question is how to fix this "shooting schools up for sport" problem? Good luck in this contest.

This is a very thought provoking poem that speaks volumes in so few words. With a picture that can really go either way. To save or to harm. Thanks for sharing. God bless

This picture says a great deal , that thing in the hand of that man could destroy the humanity that other try hard to save. If it happens then this humanity will be no more...yes calamity will be there only and become a reality.
Very well portrayed.

This is a well-written poem that conveys a very true message. There are so many horrible things going on in society today, and I think you are right in saying that people's innocence is destroyed very fast.
We all share the same world, and so people change very quickly depending on what event occurs.
Great work :)

So much on the news. So horrifying. You did well to represent the horror of it. I wish thiese young people would not resort to the guns to settle the score, whatever the score is and you CAN BET there is one to settle. Bullying is a traumatic for the victim and I am not justifying for the shooter, but Bullying never goes away and it eats away at people, especially those who cannot overcome. YOU need a billboard made of this one. Great job.
