Love your free verse interpretation of this picture, and especially like the way you've told it from the POV of the seed that sprouts in the 'cement sea'. Really enjoyed this one,
cheers.

Michael, forgive me for being late reviewing this awesome free verse.
Love the personification of the daisy fighting for life, Its reaching for
for the light a wonderful metaphor for the human spirit.
Wonderful, descriptive phrasing. A beautiful answer to the challenge.

Hello Michael. Hey now this is a great piece of writing. Truthfully I had to read it a couple of times to be sure of what I was reading. It read different each time. Got distracted (I'm easily distracted :) by the way the words were set out. I like the idea of that but for me this one was too choppy and I believe it took away from your words which are put together nicely. Intriguing ending, would expect nothing less from a man of such talent. Well done. xoxo Kiwi

This truly is a uniquely interesting photograph. I think it's the reflection of what appears to be water, or perhaps the hand.
I love how you've personified all the elements from the darkness and roots to light, life and death. You've worked through the fable and arrived to the final conclusion of humanity. Least that's how my senses interpret this delight.
Super job, Mav. :))

Okay, this is the one that I need the warm bath, candles, rose petals, wine or grape juice and my imagination, and a man with a deep voice. Excellent

Thank you for sharing your interruption of this artwork. The great thing about these challenges is that the reviewer is the winner. This the third one I've read and I've enjoyed all three.

Hello, Michael,
A beautiful ekphrastic free verse about the struggle of life. From the daisy perspective but also about human beings. Excellent presentation and interpretation of the Picture This photograph. Well done, honey.

I just love these picture ones. I won't pretend I fully understand this, but it makes me think and it enchants me. That's about all I need. So much fun to read what you write too. NG

Where do we go after life is over do we arise to live the life of milk and honey or do we find our selves in limbo awaiting the final decision from the man above or are we sent straight to hell to live in damn nation?

This is the second Pix This poem that I read with this picture.
The first was Patty's, and she talked about the loss of her Mum.
Yours is the complete opposite, if I got it right, and talks about life beginning, not leaving. An awesome and incredibly original imagination. You have made the little life have its own POV and this adds impact to the words.
Excellent, my friend.
I am not quite sure what the closing means.
