Thank you for your kind words about my poem. With so much going on in the world I wanted to write something positive and hopeful. I was thinking of my wife when I wrote it but I also wanted to send good wishes to whoever could use positive thoughts.

I loved this. We all need to find this and experience this. I love when my husband and I go to bed because when he snuggles close all the day's worries melt away. Like you said, it's safety. Nothing is better.

This poem is lovely and truly touched my heart! I could picture a parent writing this for their child that is going away to college, moving out, or getting married. I have a 10 year old son and the time is going way too fast. The words in this piece are so many of the things I wish for him as he grows up. Beautifully written! :)
