Hi Teresa. This is a well written haiku, I think. In a few words you've managed to convey the danger of getting too close. The danger of getting to close is good to remember. The warning can apply to anything. Marilyn

Imagery strong here, even without an image. The scene figures gently in the mind without aid. Few words but well projected.
My best wishes.
Have a great day.

So much has been
said in a few words written here
the insects should be very careful though.
I guess their won't be many insects around.

Hi Teresa, I enjoyed this haiku about insects. You have painted a vivid picture of a spider web and what is going on. What you say is exactly what insects do. I loved it. A great addition to the book. All the best. Ulla:)))

Many bugs find themselves caught up in catching insects that they forget themselves and become intertwined in a spiders web, just waiting for intruders to arrive.

Great imagery, you can envision these bees, joyfully, (or are they?) buzzing around, not paying attention to their surroundings, until too late. They are captured, not much fun any more. Good little story.

Hahahaha! G'day Teresa.
I love it, mate and wish I had a six left to give you, but I'm sorry I don't.
Every night here, about 6 PM we get these flippin' giant biting flying ants come around whatever light is on. They seem to love me more than others lol. Delia says it's because I've got "sweet white meat for them to chew on" lol.
Great job.
Cheers Fez

I've been off site a few days giving my eyes a rest. I enjoyed this haiku very much. As with a true haiku, no picture is needed. You painted a perfect picture with your well chosen words. Very nice work with this one.
