Such a lovely haiku, Gypsy. I really did get that image of the sun on the river. Sometimes if there is a breeze it almost dances off the river water. I enjoyed this one, Giddy

A very well-written haiku. An early morning walk is always magical when the first rays of the sun kiss the earth and reflect the most awesome colors on everything that has dew still on.

I have fished the Sacramento and I don't recall being
able to witness waves. But you live there. It's a beautiful

I can imagine the beauty of a sunrise on the water.
In our place in France, we have a lake in the property's
vast estate, and I love taking walks around the lake
at sunrise or sunset, surrounded by the private park.
Even the rays of the sun piercing through the
trees are a marvel to watch.
