Thank you for sharing your political satire. Your cartoon selection is a hoot--too bad it's so true. I admired your play on Robin Hood and use of alliteration. Sighs- Joan

Wow yes a true haiku that everyone can relate to. The imagery is true and the last line sums it all up of taking from the poor to give to the rich.

Gypsy;
-you captured the essence of what plaguing our country today and you done it by writing a haiku that is so explanatory on the subject of healthcare that it is, from the standpoint of most people, a ridiculous healthcare bill.
-The first 2 lines are not only grammatically connected but also serve as a diving board for your satori and launches it with great appeal. The first 2 lines also's as I said, set up the reader for our and exceptional explanatory undesirable attitude towards this Republican health care bill.
-This is an excellent political haiku I found the most appealing.
-Take care and have a good one.

The picture and the text follow in the best traditions of political cartoons. They work very well together to make us realize that the proposed health care bill can have lethal results.

How very true and healthcare is already so lacking in these areas. My state is 50th in the nation in terms of mental health--quality and availability. People needing admission are often held in the ER for up to 5 days until a bed is available. Tragic~Debbie

Gypsy,
I love the illustration! Where did you find it?
I am scared because I'm on Medicaid and that will be cut. I will have to fend for myself like everyone will have to do. Let's just pray the Senate vetoes all of it. Wish we lived in a real democracy.
TC
Very good poem.

I use Medicare and I am not sure if I would be affected but I am scared too. I pray the Senate vetoes all of it too.

Hi Gypsy, So many things can be said about this individual and not many good. I love the one where he says that he doesn't want "poor" people running any of his departments. OMG! You do these so well. Good luck. xoxo d

Thank you for the review and kind words sweetie pie. I hate Donald trump. I hope he gets impeached soon. The man has no morals. All he cares about is money and himself.
