Hi Gypsy. Oh My! I'm not sure I can write haiku however, I may give it a go. Thing is that middle line to lead to a resolve seems so deep in many. I'm not sure I'm that deep, but you, girl yours are amazing. I just bought your book that Dean contributed to ...surreal! Good luck xoxo Kiwi

I remember the loss of hair and the fatigue of chemotherapy. It makes for a very debilitating experience, one that leaves many memories, memories also of recovery.

Hello Gypsy,
I hope this child returns her spurt when her curly hair returns and also her smile returns
It seems sad but, their is always a happy day coming.
I have been there and I know

Gypsy Blue Rose,
Poignant with a proper use of the phrase "spirit away." The picture is perfect with your message. Well done.

To me, this verse could be about a child that is undergoing cancer treatment:
lost her curly hair
and sparkle in her eyes--
spirit away
Let's just hope that the last line does not materialise until she is old.

Hola, Marival. This is so sad. But a horrible fact to so many. But when it hits an innocent child it makes it almost unbearable. A very well written contribution to the book. Es tan triste pero me ha gustado mucho. Un besito. Ulla:)))

Again you have written a very nice poem. I wish that I could write poems like you do. It takes me a long time to write them.

Cancer is so cruel. It has taken many members of my own family far before their time.
However, it seems all the more cruel when it affects an innocent child.
This is an excellent senryu, MariVal.
Sad, but so is life much of the time.
