What a great story and a most deserving winner as story of the month.
Having not read the previous instalments, I came into this blind. It made no difference. This story stood superbly on its own.
Your characters are sketched beautifully and the story is crafted perfectly.
Great read, fascinating characters, a clever plot and a most fitting finish.
I believe you possess all the skills necessary to be a professional writer. I'd also love to see this idea enlarged into a novel. To me it has all the markings of a Sydney Sheldon type story.

This is very imaginative. How people would like to call the family together and let them have their just desserts? It is amazing that people don't have time to interact with the living, but a funeral does bring them together.
Wonderful storytelling skills. I haven't read the other installments, but your brought your characters to life in this one.
