You have presented your tale with passion and feeling. Exposing the secrets you held as an innocent child. It is a sad story. You are a strong survivor. I'm glad you are getting it out. Shining a light. I hope it helps. I am sorry for your pain, but applaud your courage and tenacity. Very well written. IT IS MOST TOUCHING.

    Wow! six shining stars.
Thank you so much for your constant support and kind, thoughtful review.
It was actually posting my poems and stories on Fanstory from 2013 that
awakened my muse and gave me a voice and the ability to become the person
I knew I could, and should, be.

This was so hard to read. I'm so sorry, all children are entitled to a safe and happy childhood, unfortunately I know that isn't always the case. Your poem told your story very simply and eloquently. MaggieF

This speaks of a true story of a girl who had lived all her childhood days in diverse abuse in the family and she could not but to bear and cry and none help anyway; I liked.

I think stories like this will eventually heal your broken heart and childhood fears Shirley. Iy is a shame children have to go through what you and your siblings endured.. God will have the final say it the mater. Love. Nancy.

Your understanding of my journey is appreciated.
I wasn't abused by my father but by my mother's defacto after my
    mother and father separated.
