Thank you for showing me that this memento style can be a thing of beauty. I thought so when I wrote my practice piece earlier in the week, but began having my doubts as I finished the second version of my birthday memento lol
Yours has shown me that there is another way and I will strive to find it.

Well I must say I do very much enjoy this poetic form, Mav. Of course your presentation is delightfully complementary of a fitting poem in tribute to your birth.

One of my sons was born on PAX River Naval Air Station in Maryland. But not at midnight. He's probably about your age.
