I love this whimsical glimpse of our beloved bees, The yellow background continues the fun. This summer at my cabin in Vermont, I am going to make a huge wildflower garden for the bees, just so I can watch them work. Cheers, judester

What a wonderful children's rhyming poem for this contest!! Little honey-bees work hard, and are now in danger I hear. I love your entry, blessings...

A very well-written and creatively presented children's poem to learn more about the honeybees and what their special task is and how they produce honey for us to collect.

It's a very cute poem about a honey bee going from flower to flower collecting-
all that is needed for making our honey. A very nice flow to it!

This tells how lovely it is to watch honeybees at work and how their labour brings sweetness to our loving home; I liked the restricted rhymes but enjoyed the read.

This is a fine entry for the contest
with some excellent rhymes in flower/power and comb/home
Very nice use of alliteration in the "f" and "d" sounds
Perfect presentation in the picture and color
most appropriate for very young children
Nicely done
Good luck in the contest

I love to watch bees also...as long as it is behind glassI'm allergic to the little honies. I loved the repeating words and the illustration.

I like the choice for the poem. It provides a good lesson on the importance of what they do. 'Proboscis' seems a little above the age level. 'Drink nectar fill' is awkward. Good job with the picture.

The picture and background colour put me in a summer mood before I even read your poem. Good alliteration and onomatopoeia. The last line is very true where would we be without our honeybee? Maggie's
