Love the analogy of Spring as a rock star. The lines are clever and the framework simple, yet descriptive. Each connection to an actual performance made me smile. I particularly liked the notes floating like pollen, landing everywhere. - Wendy

Hello Marykelly, I really enjoyed reading your poem. It made me smile. I like your analogy of spring to a concert on tour. Of special note:
Songbirds sing backup,
woodpecker plays the drums.
Notes float like pollen
landing everywhere.
(Great imagery. I can see; I can hear it.)
I also liked:
Spring's concert is the best,
she deserves a Grammy.
(Indeed she does.)
My only suggestion for improvement would be here:
makes the place even better.
(Suggestion ... something with a little more imagery, e.g.
her chill fills the air -- just my humble opinion.)
A timely poem to welcome spring.

Fantastic personification of Spring. Love this clever poem. A graceful, perfumed diva on tour, indeed, with backup singers and band, screaming fans! Deserving of a Grammy for sure! Wonderful imagery and personification of birds and wind as well as Spring. And the pollen notes floating everywhere. Fabulous!

A very well-written poem, making Spring the rockstar season who goes out there and entertain everyone who likes to join in the bursts of color and hear the bird choirs sing.

This spring poem, Spring On Tour, takes us through all the senses to experience the spring ambience that we may have forgotten since last year. One one correction would be that -- I -- an Spring's biggest fan.

I enjoyed your personification of Spring. Creative. Refreshing. Funny. Great visual imagery. Well thought out and nicely written. Good flow of rhythm. Some of the rhymes are forced. Overall, nice work.

There is much beauty in your lovely poem, that evokes all those special moments of Spring. I do like the concept, but sometimes it lacks a little flow.
The weather has been so balmy over the last two days that I've been enticed into the garden to marvel at the beauty of the flowers and revel in the blossom. I hope you've had a chance to sit and enjoy the show.
Well done.
