A very good choice of flower for the contest. Lady slippers are such a delicate flower. they are like Trilliums they are here and bloom then gone for the year. I think you completed the challenge of the contest well.

Yes, I love all those woodland flowers, also prince in the pulpet. When I find one of those it is like winning the sweepstakes for me ha ha. I am trying to get back to Vermont early enough to enjoy these springtime flowers. I usually get back end of june so all I see is a field of dried remains, wahh. Thanks for the review, cheers, j

What a delightful way of personifying these flowers. Great second line emphasizing how "whimsical" they are. Love the analogy of "bubble gum blossoms." I might suggest changing your title slightly to "Hello YOUNG ladies" to suggest their age.
